金獅機構第三季虧損‧惡化至9288萬

（吉隆坡26日訊）由於受到外國出口商持續進行傾銷活動及傳統低迷季度的兩大利空衝擊，金獅機構（LIONCOR,3581,PN17公司）截至2014年3月31日為止第三季淨虧損進一步惡化至9千288萬2千令吉，前期淨虧損為6千865萬9千令吉。
第四季的營業額為6億1千193萬7千令吉，減少15.87%。
截至2014年3月31日為止首9個月，金獅機構的淨虧損則略降低至2億2千490萬1千令吉，前期淨虧損為2億5千784萬6千令吉。
首9個月的營業額也略減少至18億2千453萬6千令吉，前期為18億5千900萬8千令吉。
金獅機構文告指出，首9個月持續面對困難，營業額走低以及營運虧損達到1億3千700萬令吉，主要是外國出口商持續進行傾銷活動，以及受到傳統低營收時期（農曆新年期間）的衝擊，使本地鋼鐵市場的需求停滯不前。
金獅機構旗下產業領域取得較好業績，而家具產品需求則停滯不前及市場競爭激烈。
文告指出，隨著2013年2月1日推出新的鋼鐵政策後，惟本地鋼鐵市場情況沒有改善。未來季度里，預料營運環境保持挑戰，特別是不負責任進口商持續沒有減少，使鋼鐵產品進口持續增加所致。（星洲日報／財經）

The Board of Directors of LCB hereby announce that LCB had issued notices of meetings via a circular dated 27 June 2014 to the LCB Bondholders, the LCB Debt Holder and/or the LCB RCSLS Holders (Collectively, “LCB Lenders”) to seek the indulgence and approval of the relevant LCB Lenders for, inter alia, the following:
(i) TSWC has vide its letter dated 26 June 2014, made a revised offer to acquire the entire outstanding LCB Bonds/Debt/RCSLS from the lenders of LCB for an aggregate cash consideration of RM246.00 million (“Proposed Acquisition of LCB Bonds/Debt/RCSLS”).

企业达人：锺廷森点石成金 奠定金狮钢铁王国

别人一筹莫展的亏损企业，在他手中，屡次化腐朽为神奇，成为他事业腾飞的契机；金狮集团董事长丹斯里锺廷森创造了太多奇迹，成就了“钢铁大王”名声，也造就了遍及东南亚的事业版图。
金狮集团所属美佳钢铁厂有限公司与合营制钢有限公司，钢铁产量占全马60%份额。集团分别在吉隆坡、新加坡、香港和印尼股票交易所公开挂牌（马来西亚5家、新加坡3家、印尼2家、香港1家），遍及零售业、产业发展、矿业、钢铁、农业及电脑。
祖籍广东潮阳的他，1943年生于新加坡，他排行老二。幼年在新加坡小学念书，后转入吉隆坡公教中学求学，从10岁开始学习做生意。
只身赴印尼闯天下
他的父亲锺水发40年代在新加坡开设了德昌制造厂，制造及出口狮标铁质家具、钢柜等，1956年把业务扩展至马来西亚，除家具外还从事橡胶产品制造和食品加工业。
不到15岁的他辍学加入公司工作，从此在马生根发展。
1971年，他在没有祖荫的辅助下，前往印尼闯天下，在那里开设钢厂。“那时我很有干劲，在飞机上、汽车上都可以工作。”每周有三天在雅加达处理公司事务，四天在吉隆坡帮父亲打理生意。
创业之初，先后遇到印尼金融政策变化等重重困难，但这些困难没有令锺廷森打退堂鼓。他从设厂、融资到拓展分销网，身体力行，业务逐渐走上正轨，第二年开始有盈利。
1978年，他成立了当时马来西亚第一家较大的钢铁厂-金狮合营制钢厂，开业一年半后就有盈利1700万令吉。
父亲去世后，大哥锺廷基继承了父亲新加坡的业务，而锺廷森接管了马来西亚的业务，将父亲创办的德兴制造公司、德昌制造公司及金狮金属制造公司合并，改名为金狮（私人）有限公司。
在钢铁行业打下坚实基础后，锺廷森开始涉及其它行业。
1981年开始进入房地产领域；1983年进入种植业，种植可可和棕榈树等；1985年进入百货业开设百盛；1987年进入汽车和摩多业；1989年进入轮胎、集装箱行业；1993年进入海绵铁行业；1995年进入纸浆业。
他依靠自己的努力，构建了自己的事业版图。
多家公司上市
进入80年代，金狮集团走向全盛时期，每年营业额平均增长率达到34%。
该集团于1982年起分别在新加坡和吉隆坡的股票交易所公开挂牌。
到1996年，集团总资产、营业额均超过100亿令吉，员工超过4万人，拥有上百家企业，分散在马新、美国、日本、台湾、香港等。
在马来西亚上市的5家公司为金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）、金狮多元控股（LIONDIV，2887，主板消费产品股）、业金狮森林工业（LIONFIB，8486，主板消费产品股）、金狮工业（LIONIND，4235，主板工业产品股）及百盛控股（PARKSON，5657，主板贸服股）。
重组高手 扭转乾坤
1986年开始，马来西亚经济出现不景气，很多企业处于倒闭状态，他利用钢铁生意中赚到的雄厚资金，不断收购、合并许多倒闭和经营不善的公司。
他认为在经济肃条时做出投资，表面看来风险很大，但经济一旦好转时，价值就会高出好几倍，竞争自然更激烈。
当时吉隆坡有两间百货公司经营不善，他准备接过来，就此进军百货市场。
逆势进军零售业
行家却说不到三个月就会关门大吉，因为当时百货业陷入财务困境，许多超级百货商场纷纷倒闭，连大马最大的超市集团英保良及在中马地区广受欢迎的友谊商店也不能幸免。可是锺廷森选择这个时候进军百货零售业。
他凭着准确的生意眼光，正确的判断力和胆量，以5000万令吉投资百货市场行业，1987年创办百盛超级市场集团，在马来西亚各大城镇重新开设了4家百盛超级市场和25家百盛商店。
服务业对他来说是一个全新的领域，他摸索了一年半，终于使商场转亏为盈。
1987年，两家代理日本铃木摩托车及铃木汽车公司经营不景气，锺廷森果断低价买下，重新制定销售策略，半年后转亏为盈。
1995年，政府一家海绵铁厂连年亏本，他以7500万令吉买进，一年就转亏为盈。
接着他又买下柔佛南部的钢铁厂，接手后仅用9个月就赚钱。
他亦买下沙巴亏本的纸浆造纸厂，进行改造，一年后即盈利。
每次接手一家亏损企业，他都会请专家分析亏损症状，寻找解决方案，“一般来说，设备没问题，主要是在人事管理上，只要找到症结，就能改变局面。”
结合美日式管理
因为神奇地使多家亏损企业赚钱，锺廷森被誉为拥有“点石成金”的本领。
这些成功与锺廷森胆大心细，具有敏锐生意眼光的商业策略家风范分不开。
新行业对他来说，总是很有吸引力。
他常说：“有兴趣就要学习，只有学习才能彻底了解这个行业。无论进入哪一行，都要有清楚的认识和周密的策划，知道自己的位置、优势和市场竞争力，如果认为可以降低成本或有所表现，才能进入。”
现代化管理是金狮集团成功的主要因素。
集团享有“管理好、效率高、名声响”美誉。
他在企业管理中，以高薪聘请良才的美式管理和培养员工向心力的日式管理，结合两者，花时间培训，给他们见习世界顶尖技术的机会，让员工充满归属感并发挥所长，为公司尽职尽忠。
这样，他在扩展业务时，能集中精力研究市场各类需求和各种挑战，而把已上轨的业务操作转交其他专门人才去管理。
一诺千金 诚信做人
锺廷森还采取非中央集权的管理，让决策层和管理层人员充分发挥主观能动性，各尽所能自由发挥，改变了家族式高度集权所带来的弊病。
“如何用人，考虑的是一个人的献身精神，一个经理人，必须全力以赴，献出他的全部精力；其次是他的领导能力；第三才是他的行业知识和学历等，因为这些是可以从工作中学习的。”他说。
做了太多的行业，每个行业都要花功夫，别人看他很轻松地在各个行业中驰骋，不知道他背后倾注多少心血。
有时间还要看书，吸收新的东西。
要了解很多生意之外的东西，比如去一个国家投资，要了解国家政策、当地城市的规划等。
谈及家庭的影响，他说财富不是最重要的，最应该感谢父亲给了他一副好身体，“从父亲那里我学到勤奋，建立信心，说话一诺千金，对朋友应有诚意。”
这些品德给他的生意带来更大的增值。

金獅機構 全年虧損擴至逾5億

（吉隆坡22日訊）金獅機構（LIONCOR，3581，主要板工業）核心業務鋼鐵銷售疲軟，致使2014財年虧損擴大，末季淨虧3億159萬令吉，全年比去年多虧2億8087萬令吉，共虧5億2649萬令吉。
該公司今日向馬證交所報備，2014財年全年營業額按年減少4.2%至24億8195萬令吉，期間每股累積虧損達40仙；去年同期每股淨虧18.66仙。截至6月底，末季營業額按年減少10.3%至6億5742萬令吉，期間每股虧損22.91仙。
“除了房地產業務持續錄得成長，鋼鐵、家俱與其他業務皆損失慘重，其中核心的鋼鐵業務，全年虧損2億5902萬令吉。”
金獅機構指出，將就鋼鐵反傾銷（anti-dumping）事宜與政府密切合作，預計明年營運環境仍充滿挑戰。【中国报财经】

马交所审核金狮延交重组申请

（吉隆坡1日讯）马交所正在审核金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）提呈的延迟呈交重组计划期限申请，因此涉及该公司的停牌以及下市行动将暂缓进行。
该公司向马交所报备，公司是在10月31日接获马交所通知。
金狮在10月1日，向马交所提出申请，将重组计划呈交期限，由10月25日延长至明年6月30日。
该公司因截至去年6月30日的股东资产少于缴足股本的50%，被列为PN17公司。
本地市场钢铁需求不振，导致金狮截至3月杪第3季亏损扩大，净亏9288万2000令吉，相等于每股亏损7.06仙。

金狮首季亏损收窄

（吉隆坡24日讯）金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）截至9月杪首季，净亏收窄13.1%，报8593万1000令吉，或每股亏损6.53仙。
上财年同期净亏是9884万3000令吉，或每股亏损7.51仙。
不过，同期营业额年增26.57%，写6亿527万令吉，上财年同期仅达4亿7821万8000令吉。
金狮财报显示，当季全球钢铁领域走弱，加上钢铁进口增加，导致厂房使用率下滑，钢铁业务仍亏损。【南洋网财经】

金狮末季亏1.2亿

（吉隆坡26日讯）来自外国的倾销活动，依旧冲击本地钢铁需求，金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）截至去年底次季，净亏进一步扩大至1亿2331万1000令吉，或相等每股9.37仙。
去年同期的净亏为3317万6000令吉，或每股2.52仙。
文告指出，由于本地钢铁需求疲软，加上产业领域的收款进度较慢，导致营收按年下滑35.42%，报4亿7428万令吉，逊于去年同期的7亿3438万1000令吉。
全年方面，净亏从1亿3201万9000令吉，恶化至2亿924万2000令吉，或每股15.9仙；营收则年跌10.97%，达10亿7955万令吉。
金狮表示，政府反倾销税政策的效果还未明朗，相信钢铁业务的营运环境仍充满挑战，而产业和家具业务仅能维持中和表现。【南洋网财经】

生肖羊的鋼鐵大王丹斯里鍾廷森，今年運程似乎不是很好，旗下鋼鐵旗艦公司——金獅工業（LIONIND，4235，主板工業產品組）受到中國廉價鋼鐵大舉壓境，遲遲無法扭轉乾坤，現在連一度廣獲市場看好的零售業也出事，前景實在令人擔心。
百盛（PARKSON，5657，主板貿服組）香港子公司——百盛零售集團（Parkson Retail Group）日前宣佈，公司間接子公司百盛商業發展被中國國際經濟貿易仲裁委員會判敗訴，需向美羅城購物中心業主支付終止租約後佔用場地的3千676萬元人民幣費用，以及8千992萬人民幣的租金，合計達1億4千萬人民幣（約8千468萬令吉）。
這筆罰金已經佔集團去年經稽查淨利約57%，因此董事部預期集團2015年第一季度的經營業績不足以抵銷仲裁裁決所帶來的影響，首季盈利可能大幅下降4千500萬令吉。
雖然分析員認為，百盛若上訴不成可能對財務帶來影響，惟這些衝擊僅屬短期，不會為整體業務造成明顯打擊，但投資者還是反應激動，百盛週三股價應聲大跌5.02%或11仙至2令吉零8仙，令今年股價累積跌幅達到12.64%，表現遠遜於富時綜合指數的3.95%漲幅。
回想當年，百盛在中國也曾風光一時，更是高檔百貨的第一把交椅，只是2008年一場全球金融大海嘯，讓中國經濟增速告別雙位數，而中國政府大動作打貪、打奢也重創百貨銷售表現，再加上大馬和越南業務增長放緩，百盛未來的整體展望仍難叫人樂觀。
鋼鐵業務還深陷泥濘，百貨業務也遭受重創，該如何扭轉乾坤，想必鍾廷森現在肯定是一個頭兩個大。
但是，鍾廷森見慣大風大浪，1997年的亞洲金融危機，當時在大馬擁有6家上市公司的金獅集團也因錯估風暴的嚴重性而遭受重創，一夜間背負超過100億的債務，最終卻能全身而退，再創事業高峰，災情應對能力不容小覷。
只是領導能力再高，若金獅集團和百盛持續這樣大事小事不斷引爆，恐怕丹斯里也會疲於奔命，因此何不趁現在對企業來個徹底改革，一勞永逸將問題解決，否則只怕夜長夢多。（星洲日報／投資致富‧投資茶室‧文：洪建文） |

我很想知道金獅機構（LIONCOR，3581，PN17公司）的重組計劃進展如何？業務前景如何？
答：
金獅機構是因子公司美嘉鋼鐵的巨額債務而陷入PN17行列。該公司原本在2014年10月25日或之前，呈交重組計劃給相關機構，惟較後申請延長呈交重組計劃期限。
金獅機構在2015年4月1日最新宣佈指出，尚在等待大馬股票交易所，對其延期申請的決定，以便能夠將重組計劃呈交給各有關當局的期限延長至2015年6月30日。
至於業務前景，綜合該公司資料，業務前景不甚樂觀，主要是外國出口商持續進行傾銷活動，使本地鋼鐵市場的需求停滯不前，而旗下產業領域取得較好表現。
政府在2013年2月1日推出新的鋼鐵政策後，惟本地鋼鐵市場情況沒有改善。市場預期金獅機構營運環境保持挑戰，特別是不負責任進口商沒有減少，使鋼鐵產品進口持續增加所致。

（吉隆坡2日讯）金狮（LIONCOR，3581，主板工业产品股）旗下子公司和相关公司，共同成立一家管理公司，以集中管理开销，同时更方便处理消费税事务。
根据文告，金狮多元控股（LIONDIV，2887，主板消费产品股）、金狮工业（LIONIND，4235，主板工业产品股）、金狮森林工业（LIONFIB，8486，主板消费产品股）、百盛控股（PARKSON，5657，主板贸服股）等，都有份参与设立该管理公司。
