TRC Synergy Berhad (“the Company”) is pleased to announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd ("TRC"), had on 03 December 2018 accepted the award from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd for the construction and completion of the Project for a contract sum of RM 498,698,000.00. The Project will need to be completed within 57 months.
The Project will not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital, substantial shareholders' shareholdings, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries ("TRC Group").
Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Board is of the opinion that the Project will contribute positively to the earnings and earnings per share of the TRC Group in the future.
None of the Directors of the Company, its substantial shareholders or any person(s) connected with the Directors and/or substantial shareholders have any interest in the Project.
The Board, after having considered all aspects of the award is of the opinion that the Project is in the best interest of the TRC Group.

(“TRCL”), as a developer for the 1Malaysia Civil Servant Housing Development (PPA1M) from Perbadanan Putrajaya (“PJC”) at Precinct 18, Putrajaya (“the Project”) for a gross development cost of RM292,741,302.
Pursuant to the above appointment, TRCL and PJC entered into the Development Agreement dated 24 July 2017 (“the Development Agreement”).
The Company wishes to announce that TRCL had on 25 February 2019 received a three (3) month notice of termination from PJC dated 22 February 2019 concerning the Project (“the Termination”).
The Termination was made by PJC pursuant to Clause 26 (Termination on National Interest) of the Development Agreement.
The Company believes that the Termination is consistent with the Government’s new initiatives to consolidate the development of affordable homes under the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (“KPKT”).
The Termination is not expected to have material impact on the earnings, net asset, and gearing of the Company and the Group for the financial year ended 31 December 2019.

Type | Announcement | Subject | OTHERS | Description | Execution of a Supplemental Agreement with MRCB George Kent Sdn Bhd (MGK) | Further to the announcement made on 05 September 2017 by the Company on the award of Package TD2 – Construction and Completion of Johan Setia Depot (Phase 2) and Associated Works for Construction and Completion of Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia (“the Project”) by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (“Prasarana”) to the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd (“TRC”), the Company is pleased to announce that a Supplemental Agreement was signed by MGK and TRC on 06 March 2020 (“the SA”).
Pursuant to the SA, the works package contract earlier executed by Prasarana and TRC was agreed to be amended and/or varied, the salient amendments of which are as follows:- a) Pursuant to a remodelled LRT3 Project, MGK is now the Main Contractor appointed by Prasarana; b) Under the remodelled LRT3 Project, the design and scope of the LRT3 Project has changed, and with this, a new revised contract price of RM536,800,000.00 is agreed between TRC and MGK; c) the revised completion date for the Project will be November 2023
The execution of the SA will not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital, substantial shareholders' shareholdings, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries.

吉隆坡17日讯)TRC协作(TRC Synergy Bhd)获得双溪毛糯-沙登-布城(SSP)捷运二号线(MRT2)高架车站建设的分包合约,总值1亿1399万令吉。
TRC向大马交易所报备,子公司Trans Resources Corp私人有限公司于昨日接受了该合约。
“如无意外,董事部认为该项目将为TRC集团未来的盈利和每股盈利作出贡献。”
休市时,该股起1.54%或0.5仙,报33仙,市值为1亿5856万令吉。 |
