The Board of Directors of SMPC wishes to announce that the Company has on 27 September 2013 disposed off the entire issued and paid up share capital in its wholly-owned subsidiary, SMPC Steel Mill Sdn Bhd ("SSM"), comprising 100 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each fully paid to Loh Geok Bee and Koh Cheng Poay for a total consideration of RM100.00 resulting in SSM ceasing to become a subsidiary of the Company ("the Disposal"). The basis of arriving at the total consideration is that SSM is a dormant company which has not commenced its business operation since incorporation. The Disposal is in line with the Company's plan to minimise group operating costs by disposing dormant company within the Group. The Disposal will not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of the Group. SMPC企業（SMPC，7099，主板工業產品組）去年完成重組，今年有轉虧為盈的跡象，可是和已被除牌的HLS機構（HLScorp，7098，PN17）都是同樣一位大股東白武士。請問要如何看待SMPC企業的前景和評估風險？

答：
SMPC企業在過去1年來行事低調，沒有任何重大企業宣佈，除了在2013年1月初宣佈以380萬3千782令吉，收購檳州水供（PBA，5041，主板貿服組）的257萬5千800股的股票，以及四合集團（SEEHUP，7053，主板貿服組）的2萬3千200股股票，以及1千500萬零100單位的不可贖回可轉換無擔保債券；它表示可利用盈余進行回報可觀的投資。

談到公司前景，先看最新業績及公司管理對未來業務前景看法。

截至2013年6月30日為止首季，該公司淨利為106萬1千令吉，前期為14萬3千令吉。而首季營業額為4千226萬2千令吉，前期為3千499萬令吉。首季每股淨利為2.35仙。該公司每股資產值為2令吉32仙。

該公司管理層指出，該公司首季比上一季轉虧為盈，主要是旗下的穿孔金屬系統，及金屬重新循環業務表現好轉。該公司認為，隨著業務趨向好轉，預料未來季度的業績有望改善。
