Description	AMCORP PROPERTIES BERHAD ("AMPROP" OR THE "COMPANY")SELECTIVE CAPITAL REDUCTION AND REPAYMENT EXERCISE OF AMPROP PURSUANT TO SECTION 116 OF THE COMPANIES ACT 2016 ("SCR")
We refer to the Company’s earlier announcements in relation to the SCR. Unless otherwise stated, all terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcements. On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that the High Court had on 14 October 2021 granted an order confirming the reduction of the share capital of the Company under Section 116 of the Act ("High Court Order") to give effect to the SCR. Following the above, AMPROP will lodge an office copy of the High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act ("Lodgement") in due course. The SCR will become effective upon the Lodgement ("Effective Date"). For the avoidance of doubt, the Effective Date shall be on the same day as the Entitlement Date, which will be announced in due course. In this regard, the latest tentative timetable for the implementation of the SCR is as follows: Date Event ¹ End October 2021 Announcement of the Entitlement Date Announcement of notice of suspension in relation to the trading of AMPROP Shares Early November 2021 Entitlement Date ² Lodgement Mid November 2021 Cash payment to the Entitled Shareholders at the SCR Offer Price Completion of the SCR End November 2021 Delisting of AMPROP from the Official List of Bursa Securities Notes: (1) This is an indicative timetable. If any of the events are changed or delayed, the subsequent events will be adjusted accordingly.
