The Company was incorporated on 3 May 1994 as a private company limited by shares under the name SuperBowl Holdings Pte Limited to acquire all the leisure subsidiaries of the Hiap Hoe Group. SuperBowl Holdings Limited is South-East Asia’s leading provider of indoor sports and recreation facilities. Together with its subsidiaries, SuperBowl Jurong, SuperBowl Development, SuperBowl Management and Super Funworld, it forms the sports and leisure arm of the Hiap Hoe Group of Companies.

The Company adopted its present name when it was converted into a public company on August 1, 1994. It is the investment holding company of the Group. Today, the SuperBowl Group has carved a niche in sports and family leisure lifestyle facilities with its chain of one-stop sports recreation centers for families, individuals and corporations. While there are several competitors in each type of sports or recreational facility offered, SuperBowl is the clear leader in the region with its concept of an integrated complex, complete with food and beverage facilities, it is also the only chain that operates a co-ordinated membership scheme that links all its centers.

The principal activities include bowling, billiards, indoor game arcades, food and beverage outlets as well as investments in commercial properties. It is currently one of the largest owners and operators of bowling centers in Southeast Asia and the largest operator of upmarket billiard halls in Singapore. In 1995, it acquired the Marina Bay Golf & Country Resort & renamed it SuperBowl Golf & Country Club.
