The Board of Directors of Kamdar Group (M) Berhad ("KGMB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the retail outlets at the rented premises at Mid Valley Megamall, F055, Lingkaran Syed Putra, Mid Valley City, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and  61, Jalan SS 2/64, SS 2, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor will be closed  with effect from 31 October 2018.The tenancies have expired and the company has decided not to renew them. The SS2 shop was not profitable and the tenancy had expired. The midvalley branch, if we had renewed the tenancy at the increased rental rate the store would no longer be profitable. There will be no significant financial or operational effect on KGMB upon the closure of the aforesaid retail outlets. This announcement is dated 31 October 2018.

Further to the announcement made on 15 December 2021 pertaining to the Disposal of Property by it's wholly-owned indierect subsidiary, Orisea Trade Sdn Bhd, Kamdar Group (M) Berhad wishes to provide clarification/additional information on items 4, 8(b) and 11 (1st para) of the aforesaid announcement as follows:- 1. Item 4. BASIS OF ARRIVING AT THE SALE CONSIDERATION The latest valuation update report dated 30 June 2021 was carried out by Raine & Horne International Zaki + Partners Sdn Bhd ("RHIZP"), The Basis of valuation is on market value. The methods of valuation used by RHIZP in arriving at the market value was as follows:- (i) Comparison Method (ii) Cost Method 2. Item 8. FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF THE SALE TRANSACTION b) The sale proceeds of RM12,300,000.00 shall be partially used to settle the outstanding loan of RM10,000,000.00 of the group and the balance of RM2,300,000.00 will be used to pay some direct expenses pertaining to the proposed disposal and for working capital purposes. The early settlement of the loan will result in interest savings of approximately RM2,138,813.22. 3. Item 11. RATIONALE FOR THE PROPOSED DISPOSAL The Property was rented to its wholly owned subsidiary, Kesar Sdn Bhd which used it for wholesale business and decision was made to downsize and relocate the business and sell the property as part of the group’s business rationalization exercise. This announcement is dated 17 December 2021.
