BACKGROUND
The Company was incorporated on 14 July 2005 underthe name of Cougar Corporation Private Limited. The Company was awholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Shipping Corporation Limited("SSC". The Company assumed its present name on 12 September 2005 uponthe completion of the Restructuring Exercise in SSC.

Cougar Logistics is a Singapore-based group. TheGroup engages principally in the provision of warehousing, logistics,agency and terminal operations services. The Group provides servicessuch as freight forwarding, general warehousing and regionaldistribution services, warehouse management, international shipping,car freighter services, and the transportation of plant and projectcargo and specialise in the transportation and storage of automotiveparts, office machines and equipment, consumer electronics, and winesand spirits.

The Group manages approximately 2.4 million sq ft ofwarehousing space located in Singapore and Malaysia. The warehousingfacilities managed in Singapore are located at Boon Lay Way, JurongPort and Penjuru Road. In Malaysia, the warehousing facilities arelocated in (amongst others) Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Port TanjungPelapas and Johor Bahru. The Group also provides or manages additionalfacilities such as custom-bonded warehousing, temperature controlledand open storage facilities, as well as storage in free-trade zone.

The Group agency services include cargo solicitationand planning, supervision of loading and unloading of cargo,arrangement of crew changes for vessels and provision of specialisedstuffing gangs for the stuffing and unstuffing of chemicals anddangerous goods. The Group also has an appropriated berth at PasirPanjang Conventional Wharf in Singapore.

最近（21 Sep 2007）会发股息 （S$0.19/share）,很高的股息。周五（7 Sep 2007）闭市价为 S$0.755，即每买一千股（S$755）将获得 S$190 的股息。此后，还有可能会 cash distribution （S$0.13/share）。要提的一点是这支股票的 volume 并不高，所以不是拿来炒的，建议为了其股息当作短期投资。

Cougar Logistics buys 20% stake in Grace Shine property investor for $24m

Cougar Logistics Corporation said it has agreed to purchase a 20% stake or 10 million shares of Grace Shine for $24 million representing a purchase price of $2.40 per share share. Cougar Logistics will issue 80 million shares at $0.30 each to the sellers of the stake as payment.

Grace Shine is incorporated in Singapore, and is engaged in the business of property investment. The current portfolio of Grace Shine comprises a commercial building and three condominium units. As at Sept 30, ABI Plaza has a total of 10 tenants representing an occupancy rate of 81%, while each of #15-06 Sky@Eleven, #35-09 Sky@eleven and #06-05 Saint Regis is tenanted.

For the eight months ended Aug 31, the rental income (and service charge) received by Grace Shine from the properties is $2.76 million.

The acquisition considered an interested party transaction as Cougar's director, Jonathan Tahir, owns an 88% stake in Grace Shine. Tahir also owns a 50% stake in Mayapada Corporation, which owns 19.99% of Cougar.
