Start/Finish Venue: Jalan Tasik, Ayer Keroh, Melaka. (GPS: 2.270046,102.302851)

Distance: 21km. All tarmac road.

Participants: Open to all Malaysian and international runners who are above 18 year-old (Born in 1996 or before).
Cash prizes are only for Malaysian and ASEAN runners.

Categories:
A. Male Open (aged 18 years and above)
B. Female Open (aged 18 years and above)

Cash Prizes(For Malaysian & ASEAN citizens only)
Male & Female:
1st :        RM300
2nd: RM200
3rd:         RM100
4th till 10th :RM50

Early birds (Before 31/10/2013): RM50
Normal rate : RM60

Fee includes:
1. Bib
2. T-shirt (Dry fit)
3. Finisher medals for all runners who completed the race within 3.5 hours.
4. Group accident insurance coverage during the event (T&C applied)

Registration fee is not refundable.

Race pack collection is on 11/1/2014 (Saturday) at starting point, ie Jalan Tasik, Ayer Keroh Lake side. More details will be followed later.

Closing date for registration: 30/11/2013 or upon reaching maximum number of participants, whichever earlier.

Changing of vest size is strictly not allowed.

Water stations: 4.

Medical support: An ambulance with qualified paramedics will be allocated for the event. At least TWO experienced medical doctors will be on stand-by at the start/finish point.

Rules & Regulations:
1. The Skyhwak Nature Run 2014 (“the event”) is organised by Malacca Skyhawk Marathon Club (“the organiser”)
2. The event is opened to all Malaysian and international runners who are18 year-old or above as of event day(Born on 12 January1996 or before).
3. Only runners of Malaysia or ASEAN countries citizens are eligible to win the cash prizes.
4. By signing up for and providing any information, participants are agree with the rules and regulations of the event. The organiser might post the full results of the event on website.
5. The Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these rules and regulations of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organiser will take into account the interests of all the affected participants.
6. Registration for the race is only confirmed upon payment made. Registration fee is not refundable.
7. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event race routes as they deem fit for the safety of the Participants and/or to prevent any potential hazards in the running of the Event, at any time without prior notice to the Participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participant prior to the date of the Event.
8. Whilst every reasonable measure will be taken by the organiser to ensure the safety of participants, all participants are running at their own risk. The organiser will not be responsible or hold liable to any injury or death arising during the race. Participants are strongly encouraged to go for a medical examination before entering the race.
9. Cut-off time for the event is 3.5 hours.
10. The participants are required to provide correct personal particulars when signing up for the event.
11. The Organiser will not entertain nor be in any way responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate entry details in the registration form.
12. All participants must wear their respective bibs in front of their vest throughout the event. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate any runner without a bib from continuing the event.
13. Bibs are strictly not transferable, else considered disqualified and the organiser will not hold liable on any accident or injury.
14. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to Sponsors anywhere in the world.
15. Participants who do not start within 20 minutes of respective flag off, for safety reasons may not be allowed to start and will be immediately disqualified.
16. The Organiser will not be responsible for any loss and/or damage, personal or otherwise, to the belongings and items deposited at the event baggage storage provided for the runners. The Organiser also reserves the right to check any item or baggage deposited.
17. Any unclaimed baggage 4 hours after flag-off of event will be deemed unwanted. The organiser reserves the right to dispose or redistribute the items in any manner deemed appropriate.
18. All participants who successfully complete the event before cut-off time will be awarded a finisher’s medal upon presentation of their bib number to the respective officials.
