TheCompany was incorporated in Singapore on 30 July 2002 under the name ofSinwa KS Pte Ltd and renamed to Sinwa KS Ltd on 3 January 2003.

Sinwa Limited is a regional marine supply andlogistics company servicing the marine and offshore industry inSingapore, China and Australia.

In China, it operates through its appointed marinesupply and logistics companies in Dalian, Shanghai, HongKong,Guangzhou, Qingdao, Xiamen and Tianjin.

In November 2004, Sinwa acquired three Australianmarine supply companies and in March 2005, it incorporated SinwaBrisbane to service the north-eastern Australia seaboard ports. Withthese four companies Sinwa is able to effectively tap into virtuallyall of Australia's ship supply markets – from Darwin in the north toFremantle in the east, from Albany and Adelaide on the south coast toMelbourne and Sydney.

Besides supplying a wide range of ships' stores,provisions and equipment to its customers, Sinwa also supplies,fabricates and installs thermal insulation materials on gas andchemical vessels.

To tap onto the business opportunities in theoffshore sector in the region, it established Sinwa Offshore in 2003 tosupply and install specialised rigging, deck fittings and anchorchains. This division also supplies OCIMF-recommended mooring ropes toits customers.
