The Project involves construction works comprising a retail mall, which is expected to be completed within 46 months by 31 July 2024, and a convention centre which is expected to be completed within 48 months by 30 September 2024. The Project is part of the development of the integrated waterfront mixed development project in Penang known as The Light City which will consist of a convention centre, retail malls, hotels, residential condominiums and offices.
IJMPD is a 50:50 joint venture company between IJM RE Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company) and Perennial Penang Pte. Ltd. (an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Perennial Real Estate Holdings Limited, a company incorporated and listed in Singapore).
