the Board is pleased to inform that the Company has carried out a professional valuation on certain investment properties of the Group. The details as required under Part H of Appendix 9A to be furnished are as follows :
1. The purpose of the valuation is to reflect the fair market value of the Group's investment properties and thus the real worth of the Group's overall net tangible assets.
2. The increase in the value arising from the said valuation amounted to RM80,739,460. .
3. The effect of the increase in the fair value of the net assets per share of the Group based on the interim 31st October 2010 unaudited 3rd quarterly Report figures will be :-

4. The valuations of these investment properties were carried out by the following valuers :-
(a) VPC Alliance (Sabah) Sdn Bhd in October 2010.
(b) Henry Butcher Malaysia (Sabah) Sdn Bhd in January 2010.
5. The total value placed on the said investment properties by the valuers is RM107,318,000.
The excess in the fair value arising from the said exercise as stated above has been approved by the Board to be incorporated into the interim unaudited 3rd quarterly Report of the Group for the period ended 31st October 2010. Copies of the valuation reports can be inspected at the Company's registered office at 1st & 2nd Floor , Victoria Point , Jalan OKK Awang Besar , 87007 , W.P. Labuan. |
