冷門股比德生科‧業務持續壯大

若說家禽股是馬股中相對冷門的股類;那麼,專為家禽領域供應動物衛生和營養產品的公司,更可謂冷中之冷,不少投資者甚至不曉得馬股中有這類公司存在。
實際上,馬股共有3家從事動物衛生和營養產品業務的上市公司,有關領域因肉類需求及健康環保意識持續揚升而變得越發重要,產品需求不但抗跌,且有良好成長空間,這是《股海撈月》相中這冷門行業的原因。
當中,我們要深入探索的對象,就是業務持續壯大中的比德生科(PLABS,0171,創業板貿服組)。
2011年7月在馬股創業板上市的比德生科,核心業務是製造、分銷和貿易動物衛生與營養產品,包括飼料添加劑、環境維護產品、獸醫用藥劑與生物製劑,其運作歷史最早可追溯到1989年,是資深業者之一。
除代理數國際品牌外,比德生科也擁有本身的製造產能,其在2011年投產、擁有優質產品監管過程(GMP)地位的製造廠,位於汝來一塊佔地3英畝的土地上,辦公室、倉庫、品質監管設施、化驗室等亦坐落該處。
高層具豐富家禽領域經驗
另外,該公司董事經理林宗成,兩位執行董事張振興和劉應錕,都已在家禽相關領域累積超過30年的豐富經驗,其中林宗成和張振興更是公司創辦人之一。
自從上市馬股後,比德生科即逐漸淡出市場鎂光燈,這或許是由於創業板公司本就不太受關注,又或是缺乏重大企業消息的緣故。
每年都賺錢和派息
然而,環顧上市至今的表現,會發現該公司其實有著不錯的基本面,至少是一家每年都賺錢和派息的公司,這樣的公司在創業板中已不多見。
數資顯示,在2010至2014年期間,比德生科營業額年年增長,從4千零72萬8千令吉一路上揚至2014年的5千494萬3千令吉,在4年內成長34.9%。
此外,截至今年6月31日止第二季,該公司在2015上半年的營業額繼續成長,按年急漲32.95%至3千311萬5千令吉;就上半年表現來看,全年營業額大有機會邁向上市後的連續第五年成長。
營業額基礎持續膨脹之際,比德生科亦年年獲利,過去5年淨利介於200萬至594萬8千令吉之間,唯一缺點是賺幅顯得不穩定,不排除是受汝來廠房使用率未達理想水平、市場競爭和持續開發海外市場等因素的影響。
比德生科過去兩年都錄取正面自由現金流,今年上半年營運現金流亦維持正面,若這現象得以維持,則可望對未來負債率或派息造成正面影響。
2011年上市以來,比德生科每年都派息,派息額介於0.3仙至0.7仙之間,算是不錯的額外收穫,畢竟該公司仍是家成長中的公司。
積極擴充出口
為了推動業務繼續成長,比德生科近年有意嘗試多元化產品覆蓋網,放眼進軍水產養殖業和反芻動物(牛羊等)領域,同時積極擴充出口業務,力圖把業務區域化。
實際上,比德生科4年前上市時已透露出口業務將是未來業績支柱,但觀察這些年表現,該公司雖成功踏入多個區域國家,但來自各國的貢獻卻仍不顯著,這或許也是廠房使用率未達理想水平的原因。
截至2014年,出口業務雖佔總營業額的6.2%,較比德生科剛上市時的約2%增加不少,卻還不足以左右整體業績,這顯示海外擴張大計仍處耕種階段,尚未開花結果。
考慮到海外擴張進度足以對該公司廠房運作效率和整體業績帶來有意義的影響,其海外業務進展料繼續受市場關注。
去年發佈的調查報告顯示,亞太區飼料添加劑市場料可在2013至2018年期間,以8.8%的年均複合增長率(CAGR)速度膨脹,需求潛力不容忽視。
有意進軍水產養殖
和反芻動物
至於進軍水產養殖業和反芻動物的計劃,至今似未有實質進展;若比德生科能進一步開拓現有市場潛力,進軍新領域倒也不急一時。
另外,比德生科今年4月獲澳洲飼料添加劑供應商――Agromed公司委任作大馬分銷商,代理Agromed的旗艦產品Opti Cell,再度壯大其產品組合。
據瞭解,Opti Cell是以木材製成的益生木質纖維素(lignocellulose)產品,是飼料添加劑的一種,主要功能在於改善動物內臟健康和消化情況;不過,這項新產品的潛在貢獻仍待觀察。
市值5066萬
排在長征和宏誠生科之後
以營業額作準,比德生科是馬股中運作規模最大的動物衛生與營養產品供應商;但若以市值計,比德生科截至上週五的5千零66萬令吉市值,卻在3家上市同儕中墊底。這是個有趣的現象,值得一探究竟。
數據顯示,另兩家從事動物健康和營養產品的公司――長征控股(SCC,0158,創業板貿服組)和宏誠生物科技(SUNZEN,0148,創業板消費品組),截至上週五市值分別為8千423萬令吉和1億2千110萬令吉。
截至2015上半年,長征控股營業額報2千814萬6千令吉,淨利則有258萬6千令吉;宏誠生物科技營業額和淨利則分別是1千710萬7千令吉和57萬1千令吉。
作為比較,比德生科的同期營業額有3千311萬5千令吉,淨利為114萬2千令吉。
《股海撈月》認為,比德生科市值落後,原因或許是基本面被市場忽略,也可能是過去幾年淨利漂浮不定,讓投資者無從估值。
然而可作參考的是,比德生科在今年7月以每股19.5仙價格,私下配售9.09%新股給來自香港的GL股份伙伴有限公司,引進後者成為顯著股東。
雖說我們不曉得新大股東背景和入股用意,但有關消息仍帶出了正面訊息,至少反映出GL股份伙伴在19.5仙價位中瞥見投資潛能。此外,比德生科當年上市時,首次公開售價(IPO)為每股30仙。
最近,比德生科股價隨大市回揚,於上週成功突破過去4個月來屢攻不下的24仙阻力,至於未來能再走多遠嘛,就要看市場投資情緒和未來業績的臉色了。

The Vendor has obtained a letter consent dated 23 May 2016 from the Developer confirming the ownership of the Property and agreeing to directly transfer the Property to the Purchaser. (b) The legal possession of the Property shall be deemed delivered by the Vendor to the Purchaser upon full payment of the Purchase Price & Late Payment Interest (if any) and the Purchaser’s portion of the apportionment of outgoings. 比德生科(PLABS,0171,创业板贸服组)是去年11月《股海捞月》所提及的公司,核心业务是制造、分销和贸易动物卫生与营养产品;以营业额计算,该公司目前是国内最大上市动物卫生与营养品供应公司。
以业务性质来看,美元走强理应对比德生科业务不利,因该公司所分销的产品及用于制造业务的原料,多以美元计价;然而,透过观察过去半年的业绩表现,我们发现该公司业绩在马币暴跌期间也保持正面,抗跌性甚佳。
截至今年3月31日止首季,比德生科营业额报2005万8000令吉,按年成长18.1%,净利则扬28.25%至63万1000令吉,相当于每股0.31仙。
考虑到业务有成长空间,加上股价走势相对稳、资产负债情况健康,我们决定将该公司纳入组合。
