Microsoft has just announced that Gears of War has sold 1 million copies worldwide in just its first two weeks of release, elevating the game to the fastest-selling title of 2006 and fastest-selling original Xbox game of all time.

The game has also become the most-played Xbox Live game as more than 850,000 unique gamers have engaged in 10 million gameplay sessions while unlocking an impressive 7 million Achievements. Microsoft also believes that the game has driven new members to the network, as paid registrations per day have skyrocketed more than 50 percent since the game’s launch.

"From the very beginning, we knew ‘Gears of War’ would be an industry-defining hit," said Shane Kim, corporate vice president at Microsoft Game Studios.

"As we watched both the game and its hype grow, it became obvious that ‘Gears of War’ was the rare title that could live up to such incredible anticipation, and judging from the reaction of critics and fans, it’s done just that."

Microsoft and Epic have claimed the Chart Track All Formats number one with Gears of War – the fastest-selling Xbox 360 title to date.

The highly-acclaimed shooter also becomes the second fastest-selling Microsoft game ever, behind Halo 2, and is the third fastest-selling game of the year so far.

EA's Need for Speed Carbon and THQ's WWE Smackdown Vs Raw are both knocked down the charts one place to number two and three, respectively, while FIFA 07 manages to climb back up to number four.

At five is Electronic Arts' third title in the top five, The Sims 2: Pets, with Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at six and Activision's Call of Duty 3 dropping down the charts from number three to number seven.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy holds on to the number eight position, while Bratz: Forever Diamondz leaps up the charts from number 27 to number nine thanks to the DS release. Just hanging in at number ten is Rockstar's PSP exclusive Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.

The only other new releases in the top forty are Activision's Tony Hawk's Project 8 at number 18 and Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerebus at number 28.

Halo 2 finally ousted from number one position

Xbox Live's director of programming, Larry Hryb, has revealed that Gears of War has finally overtaken Halo 2 to become the most popular game on Microsoft's multiplayer service.

Even with Call of Duty 2 and titles like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter attracting huge crowds in the Xbox 360's early months on sale, Halo 2 has always managed to maintain its position on the top of the pile - and its ousting in favour of a new, 360-exclusive property is likely to be seen as significant.

Elsewhere in the most-played charts, Call of Duty 3 overtook its predecessor to slot in behind Gears of War. Contra is the third most-played 360 game amongst connected users, despite the release of Midway's Defender last Wednesday.

有的，其实您看看她头部后脑那部分...有类似长长毛发状物体...可分辨出雌性特征，呵呵

《戰爭機器》素質再度提升 補丁即將放出

Xbox360平台目前為止最熱門的大作《戰爭機器》已經正式發售了，
本作令人嘆為觀止的遊戲畫面以及爽快異常的殺戮場面
征服了絕大多數的 Xbox360玩家。
日前，來自《戰爭機器》開發公司的Epic官方論壇的消息，
新的《戰爭機器》補丁正在製作中，即將在Xbox Live上提供下載。

據稱，本次補丁將會修正《戰爭機器》中存在的BUG，
增加新武器以及新的對戰地圖，令人吃驚的是，
製作小組還表示，將會在原有畫面效果上進一步強化
《戰爭機器》的畫面表現力，將會提供給玩家更震撼的視覺享受。

早前一位微軟高層曾經在採訪中透露了《戰爭機器》將會以三部曲的方式推出
如今一名遊戲開發小組成員再度暗示了《戰爭機器》三部曲的真實性，
他表示，《戰爭機器》將會繼續持續開發，各位玩家可以繼續期待。

OK，昨日破了困难模式，终于解脱了。gametag头像选择多了个红色的skull头让选择来做头像，不错不错。
考虑去玩疯狂难度....如果单机打不行，也许会上live请人合作破。(之前所有难度都是自己破)

我的gow玩玩一下結果叫我抹光碟不能玩,結果check一下發現有道痕,真是orz,正玩到開始爽快竟然給我出現這種問題...

恩，尝试下拿回去给卖您这游戏的店家反映下问题..........反正咱们买的正版游戏是有30天warranty的，如果不是人为的疏忽应该可以帮您和m$换的.....不然这样放着不管浪费了心机和$$

今天本来只想拿GOW来打发一下时间，没想到竟然一口气玩完了。
虽然故事很短，但我觉得GOW是我玩过最好玩的ACTION GAME了。
这是我第一次玩FPS GAME，感觉有点晕，唯有难度的是最终的BOSS，打了10多次才知道他怕手镏弹，下一次打之前就准备４个来孝敬他吧

哈哈，昨晚和tachi玩合作模式打casual难度case1，爽死，合作玩也是不错的说然后还去等级配对模式开房间，等老外来打，tachi越打越有发觉手感了，看着他逐渐提升战力，嘻嘻


现在打算组织咱们cari的gow战队!有兴趣的请留个名，先为队伍起个美称，然后再制定规则和约定时间的......有人来吗?

昨天真的很爽快。。。。。。。一回到家开XO360。。。。。。。疑。。。。。。有一人上线+两封MSG。。。。。。。。看完MSG后。。。。。。。。发现原来上线那位是OSIS老大。。。。。。2话不说就开启刚"败"回来的GOW。。。。。。进入时的那段小UPDATE。。。。。。。上次JIN来我家测试游戏时已经弄过了（还莫名其妙为人家开启一个ARCHIEVEMENT ）。。。。。。。。

刚进入TITLE时就接到OSIS老大滴PC MSG。。。。。。紧张。。。。。。。对话的第一句居然是以"HALO，听到吗"来开始。。。。。。。

讨论了一会儿，就朦朦胧胧进入CO-OP STORY MODE。。。。。。。。。结果在不知怎么控制+不知什么状况下。。。。。。。开始了TRAINING+CASUAL难度CASE 1。。。。。。。在OSIS老大滴教导下。。。。。。慢慢开始知道怎么玩了（可怜那本说明书。。。。。。完全派不上用场 ）。。。。。。。过了CASE 1后。。。。。。由于大家都有各自事情要办。。。。就暂时中止。。。。。。。

没多久。。。。。。9点多我们又见面了。。。。。。这次换了中文界面进入。。。。。。方便知道各自要找的东东是虾米（之前一个用中文，一个用英文。。。。。。。完全搞不懂对方说滴模式是虾米）。。。。。。

这次我们去RANKING MATCH试玩。。。。。。结果。。。。。。。等了1段时间。。。。。。没人进入。。。。。。唯有两人笨笨的互射。。。。。。结果被老大赢3败4的状况下反超前。。。。。。。。。人家就酱卖单了

接着我们又进入开一个NEW MATCH。。。。。。依然没人鸟。。。。。。结果在边等边聊天的状况下。。。。。。。突然跑进6个美国人加入战团。。。。。。。结果在没办法对话的状况下。。。。。。一人带领一堆互射。。。。。最终由老大那队人类军获胜。。。。。。。其中以一个为HARVERTING SOULS的玩家为最强。。。。。差不多全部兽族（就是人家那队）都由他搞定。。。。。。。

这次。。。。。我们不再开新MATCH。。。。。。等人实在太累了。。。。。干脆用寻找。。。。。。结果两人用这方法。。。。。。找到各自SEARCH到滴同样MATCH。。。。。。。。。乱入和对方玩。。。。。。由于这次不是自己开滴MATCH。。。。。所以我们终于有机会合作了 （泪奔 ）

没想到第一次合作。。。。。。居然因为交谈的关系。。。。。对手每次都被我们围死了 （奸笑-ING）。。。。。。。可惜这场MATCH只开两盘WIN而已。。。。。。不过瘾。。。。。。

最后一次，我们SEARCH到刚才那个玩家新开的MATCH。。。。。。。进入后又再次合作。。。。。。可惜这次对手不好惹。。。。。。。。。他们滴TEAMWORK实在太强了。。。。。。。。一个SNIPE（远距离型，专门负责后方掩护），一个GRENEDER/GUNNER（在中距离补射或放手榴弹），一个RIPPER（直接滚前来请您吃电锯）。。。。。。。全5场败阵。。。。。。。。趴精光

这次的体验粉不错。。。。。。期待今天会有更多惊喜。。。。。。不说了。。。。。老大又上线了吼。。。。。。。我们继续砍吧
