核心业务没显著改善
券商下调海事重工财测


2018年2月9日
(吉隆坡9日讯)虽然海事重工(MHB,5186 ,主板贸服股)2017财年转亏为盈,但分析员认为,核心业务无显著改善,加上预计公司今年继续面对挑战,所以普遍调降财测。

日前,海事重工公布截至12月31日全年净赚3423万3000令吉,去年则净亏1亿3430万2000令吉;营业额则滑落19.7%,报9亿5641万4000令吉。

达证券分析员指出,该公司2017财年转亏为盈,主要是因为投资税务优惠(ITA)入账及意外更改订单,并无显示核心业务获得改善。

因此,他建议投资者在场外观望,直至净利波动缓和、新增订单合约展望有所改善,及赚幅继续复苏。

分析员维持“卖出”投资评级。

MIDF投资研究分析员认为,虽然油价和整体营运概况改善,但海事重工将在2018财年继续面对挑战,特别是重工业务。

“主要是因为处于尾声的工程及新工程之间的营业额和盈利入账时间差异。”

大批订单合约来自10亿令吉的砂拉越Bokor油田中央处理平台(CPP)工程,这将在2018财年第三季开始切割钢板,而大部分工程只会在2019财年才进行。



竞标40亿合约

截至去年12月,该公司订单合约达12.7亿令吉,而竞标合约则达40亿令吉。

此外,海事业务已达到理想使用率。

因此,分析员把2018财年净利预测调低24.1%。

兴业投行研究分析员指出,虽然预计海事重工2018财年表现疲弱,但相信该股依然被低估。

“该公司手握大批净现金,且重工整体项目面对的风险减少。该股仅交易在0.5倍的价格对账面价值(P/BV)。”

因此,分析员维持“买入”投资评级,目标价为92仙。

Incorporation of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Saudi Limited (Announcement pursuant to Chapter 9.19(23) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad)
Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad ("MHB") wishes to announce the incorporation of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Saudi Limited ("MMHE Saudi LLC"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of MHB in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The notification on the incorporation of MMHE Saudi LLC from the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("KSA") was received by Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd ("MMHE"), a direct wholly owned subsidiary of MHB on 29 March 2018.

MMHE Saudi LLC was incorporated as a single shareholder limited liability company under the Saudi Companies Law. The entire share capital of MMHE Saudi LLC of SAR500,000 (equivalent to RM500,000) comprising 50,000 shares of SAR10 each is held by MMHE.  

The principal activities of MMHE Saudi LLC are construction and maintenance of refineries, petrochemicals and refineries, construction of port piers and marine structures, extension of oil and gas pipelines, other installation, maintenance and repair activities not previously provided. The Company will also provide services like gas pipeline installations, maintenance and repair, routine repair and maintenance of floating installations (Oil platforms) with the license issued by the Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority.

The incorporation of MMHE Saudi LLC is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the MHB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2018. None of the Directors or major shareholders of MHB or person connected with them has any interests, direct or indirect, in the incorporation.

马海事重工程3策略推动业务成长

(吉隆坡17日讯)在油价復甦之际,马海事重工程(MHB,5186,主板贸服股)寄望3大策略实现永续经营,即爭取更多重工程订单、建造新干坞以扩充海事维修业务,以及借助公司经验和现有技术,將业务多元化至其他油气相关领域。

马海事重工程今日跌2仙或2.41%,以81仙掛收,全天成交量逾80万股。

一名不愿具名的小股东向《东方財经》透露,马海事重工程高层在今日的股东大会中披露公司未来营运策略,重点是推动重工程与海事维修2大核心业务继续成长。

「马海事重工程目前竞標的重工业订单价值为28亿令吉,包括岸上与上游业务相关项目,本地与海外工程各占46%和54%,竞標结果预计在今年內出炉。」

惟,该小股东指出,公司高层並未表明,今年可能贏获的合约价值。

「截至去年底,马海事重工程的重工订单总值12亿7300万令吉,绝大部份来自国油勘探(Petronas Carigali)颁发的波科油田(Bokor)第3阶段再发展项目,而相关工程的期限至2020年,当前进度逾9%。」

据了解,波科油田相关订单价值10亿令吉。

此外,小股东引述公司高层称,海事维修服务的需求强稳,马海事重工程因而决定投入5亿令吉,建造3號干坞(Dry Dock 3),扩大其服务能力。

「3號干坞预计在2020年完工,截至2月28日,工程进展为15.4%。」

小股东也透露,公司高层指市面上虽有许多修船商机,但公司干坞数量有限,被迫推掉部份订单,为了接收更多工作,公司决定扩建干坞。

小股东也指出,马海事重工程目前负责重工业务的东和西部船坞使用率偏低,西部船坞產能使用率仅35%,而东船坞更是几乎空置;反观该公司干坞使用率,目前达74%以上。

「不仅如此,公司高层在大会中称,海事维修业务的赚幅远高於重工程业务。」

涉足设备维修业务

该小股东亦指,马海事重工程打算多元化旗下业务至岸上与岸外设备维修业务,还有面向海外市场的模块结构建造业务。

「公司已完成48项发自国油公司的设备改造工程,並相信2019年启用的边佳兰国油炼油及综合石化发展中心(RAPID)將推高岸上服务的需求。」

另一方面,马海事重工程主席拿督纳沙鲁丁在大会后向媒体表示,此前油价波动,导致市面上油气业者谨慎行动,订单稀少,但竞爭激烈,赚幅被压缩,加上公司部份客户延迟付款,其重工程业务因而在2017財政年(12月31日结账)继续蒙亏。

「不过,只要油价稳定下来,油气巨头相信不久后就会展开活动,届时市面上的订单將会增加,对我们有利,只是,这情况会否在今年內发生,仍是未知数。」

反观海事维修业务预计可在今年取得约3亿5000万令吉的营收。

此外,纳沙鲁丁指出,公司目前专注於提升成本效率,包括削减人员、降低资源浪费等,以改善营运效率和盈利表现,去年共省下5300万令吉。

马海事重工程董事经理兼首席执行员旺玛希达则透露,隨著目前油价起至每桶70美元以上,部份上游业者开始重新检討策略,但他们仍需通过多项程序才能重新增加投资,重工业这需要更长的时间才可真正受惠。

针对公司能否维持去年的业绩表现,旺玛希达仅表示,但愿可以。【东方网财经】

CONTRACTUAL UNDERTAKING BETWEEN E.A TECHNIQUE (M) BERHAD (EATECH) AND MALAYSIA MARINE AND HEAVY ENGINEERING SDN BHD (MMHE) FOR THE PROVISION FOR DEMOLITION, REFURBISHMENT AND CONVERSION OF DONOR VESSEL INTO FLOATING, STORAGE AND OFFLOADING (FSO) FACILITY FOR FULL DEVELOPMENT (FFD) PROJECT, NORTH MALAY BASIN
Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (“MHB”)'s wholly-owned subsidiary Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (“MMHE”) has entered into an agreement via a “Letter of Undertaking” with E. A Technique (M) Berhad ("EA Tech") for the settlement of the sums due under the Invoices and the Additional Work Orders (“AWOs”).

EATech had, via a Letter of Award dated 9 June 2015 appointed MMHE as the Main Contractor for refurbishment and conversion of donor vessel into a Floating, Storage and Offloading Facility for Full Development Project, North Malay Basin, hereinafter referred to as “the Contract”.

During the period of the Contract, MMHE issued an AWOs to EATech claiming payment for the work done. Disputes and differences have arisen between the parties in respect of the sum arrived under the Invoices and the AWOs, and now both parties seek to amicably resolve the matter.

EATech and MMHE had entered into an agreement via a Letter of Undertaking (“LOU”) on 22 June 2018 in their effort to settle the sums due under the Invoices and the AWOs. Under the LOU, it was agreed that EATech pay part of the amount due to MMHE and deliver certain security for the remaining amount due to MMHE. Both parties shall try to resolve the remaining disputed AWOs and attempt to reach a full and final settlement within 30 days from the sail away of the FSO or as otherwise mutually agreed.

In the event an agreement is not reached pursuant to the above, both Parties agreed to resolve their disputes by way of dispute resolution mechanism as provided for in the Contract.

In view of the amicable settlement between the parties, EATech and MMHE have agreed to withdraw/discharge their respective application at the High Court in respect to the EPCIC Contract as follows:
  • Johor Bahru High Court Originating Summons No. JA-24NCVC-281-06/2018 Dated 19 June 2018
  • Johor Bahru High Court Notices Of Application No. Wa-27ncc-18-05/2018 Dated 21 June 2018.
