Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19 (24) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s Main Market Listing Requirements, ACME wishes to announce that ACME has on 30 August 2018 disposed off its entire 60% equity interest in Supportive Development Sdn Bhd (“SDSB”) to Mr Tan Swee Aun for a cash consideration of Ringgit Malaysia One (RM1.00) only (“Disposal”). Upon completion of the Disposal, SDSB shall cease to be the subsidiary of ACME. The Disposal is undertaken for the purpose of disposing a non-operating subsidiary and reducing the costs associated in maintaining that subsidiary. The Disposal is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of ACME Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2019. None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Group and/or persons connected with them have any interest, either direct or indirect in the Disposal.
