Klopp Interested in Bringing Mascherano Back to Anfield Reports this morning suggest that Liverpool are making enquiries as to the availability of former star Javier Mascherano.
The Argentinian defensive midfielder spent three and a half season on Merseyside before making the switch to La Liga giants Barcelona. His departure from Liverpool was not without controversy, with the Premier League side accusing the player of acting in a highly selfish manner.
Mascherano then proceeded to hit back at the club, announcing last year that his move away from Anfield was the most important decision of his career, allowing him to make the necessary step up in quality.
Nevertheless, new Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has identified the need for a strong holding midfield player and Mascherano's profile fits the bill perfectly. A possible move would not be without its complications as the 31-year-old is tied to the Spanish champions until 2018, with a buy-out clause of £100m attached to his current deal.
The Reds remain confident that their new charismatic leader can help tempt the player to return to the club that originally helped put him on the map.
渣叔啊! 小马哥已经老了, 而且价钱又那么贵! 100m 可以买很多年前又壮的德籍球员了吧! 请三思哦....
