roslin都不是国家队球员..
假如不是BAM的失误导致roslin不能参加新加坡公开赛和印尼公开赛,
试问Roslin可以参加世界锦标赛吗???:@ |

哈菲茲在週一于芙蓉舉行婚禮，與娜查杜希瑪結束6年的愛情長跑。雖然結婚，但哈菲茲沒有獲得特權，他的教練米士本要他盡快回球場，全力備戰8月的世界錦標賽。
“哈菲茲只有兩天休息，他必須馬上恢復訓練。他結婚的時機不對，因為他現在只有兩個月的時間準備世界賽。”
“哈菲茲近況低迷，希望結婚能為他帶來好運。我們也看過不少例子，選手在結婚后好運跟著來。”
“我們在盡其所能讓低迷的哈菲茲，重返顛峰。我希望這次能幫到他。但是，這並不表示結婚就能休長假，我要在幾天內看到他回球場。”

Time to revise selection criteria, says Kim Hock
KUALA LUMPUR: The selection criteria of players for major badminton events, among them the World Championships and Olympics, will be revised soon.
The emphasis now is on the world ranking position but national chief coach Yap Kim Hock feels that it is time to take into equal account the current form and past records of a player.
“The current selection method has been in use since my playing days and it is time we make some changes,” said Kim Hock, who plans to make the proposals after his return from the Sudirman Cup (world mixed team championships) in Glasgow later this month.
“It is now easy for a player to maintain his ranking position by going to all the smaller tournaments where the standard of competition is much lower compared to the bigger Opens.
“We have to revise the selection criteria soon. We are now adopting an open policy and giving players from outside the BAM (Badminton Association of Malaysia) the chance to play in the major events like World Championships.
“A more effective method of selection should be adopted and we can be open about it because we have the records.”
The plan to revise the selection method is also a timely move in view of the Beijing Olympics next year. The one-year qualifying period began last month. While the maximum of three players can qualify if all are ranked inside the top four, Malaysia could only expect to see two representatives in the men's singles event but both must be ranked inside the top 16.
National number one Lee Chong Wei is expected to have no problem in making the grade but there can be a fierce battle for the remaining one spot.
There are six other players currently ranked among the top 30. They are Mohd Hafiz Hashim (12th), Yeoh Kay Bin (16th), Lee Tsuen Seng (18th), Sairul Amar Ayob (20th), Roslin Hashim (21st) and Wong Choong Hann (29th).
The BAM players in this group are Kay Bin and Choong Hann. Hafiz and Roslin are from club outfit Nusa Mahsuri while Tsuen Seng and Sairul are from KLRC Bhd.
“If we have a better selection criteria in place, it would help lessen the headache of choosing who is the best to take the second slot,” said Kim Hock.
“The person who is selected should meet a certain standard and be able to give a strong challenge. Even if there is a lesser chance for him to win, he should at least help clear the way for Chong Wei.
“In choosing the second candidate, we must also see who are the players he has beaten and who he has lost to.
“If he puts up a good fight but loses in rubber games to (world number one) Lin Dan (of China) in the quarter-finals, it can sometimes be a better indication than beating a lesser opponent to reach the semi-finals. This is the type of quality we, the coaches, have to take into account too.” |
