EIEF: Edge Honors Brain Training
In Edinburgh tonight, Margaret Robertson, editor of Edge magazine in the UK, presented the prestigious Edge Award, which was picked up by Nintendo for Brain Training (Brain Age in US) on DS.
The award is given to a game from the past year which the editors of Edge and a jury of industry creatives consider to have "celebrated the willingness to aim higher and try something new."
According to Robertson, "Brain Training beat out a strong field of nominations," including:
Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in the US) - Atari: "Ambitious and full of fresh ideas."
Killer 7 - Capcom: "A shift in the way audio dialog and gameplay work together."
Ouendan - Nintendo: "An extraordinary blend of artistic traditions."
Dragon Quest VIII - Square Enix: "Not exactly original, but excellent overall in that it does everything right."
Electroplankton - Nintendo: "Playful, original."
Amped 3 - Microsoft: "Exuberant and self-confident in its presentation."
Guitar Hero - "A pure experience that took the world by storm."
Receiving the award was Nintendo UK general manager David Yarnton, who said, "In the past, people said that Nintendo was staid and conservative, but we've shown that we're heading in a different direction from others in the industry with fresh and original ideas. Only Nintendo could make arithmetic fun."
Traditionally, the Edge Award is presented to just one game, but for the first time, a new award was announced for best mobile game, voted for by readers of Edge Online. Dirty Sanchez, a mobile party game by InfoSpace, won the award, beating nominees Doom RPG, Lumines Mobile and Tower Bloxx.

呵呵﹐主要是給吊下很期待入手的那mm......嘻嘻^,^
據說這類游戲還有人真的拿來當學習燒飯燒菜教材......orz.....
不過還有相關作品也是這類﹐不過比較偏向教學﹐真的有實際煮出來﹐完成和相似度也有70PA(%)........ |

这几天才发现原来等了很久的游戏Contact也是九月出美版，不过这个就更冷门更难入手了... |
