("SCSB") and Encik Ismail bin Idris ("IBI") | The Board of Directors of SCBUILD/0109 wishes to inform that SC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SCBUILD/0109 had on 24 July 2020 entered into a Debt Settlement Agreement with SCSB and IBI for amicable full and final settlement of the debt due and owing by SCSB to SC for the supply of various construction materials on credit, to be satisfied by 21 pieces of a freehold land together with all buildings erected thereon (“Property”). The Property is currently registered under the name of IBI, who has agreed to step in as a third party to assist SCSB in settling the debt with the Property.

Item 2 – Schedule of payment
The Excess Sum shall be due and payable by SC within five (5) years from the date of the Agreement in a non-fixed repayment basis. As mutually agreed with SCSB, SC has the discretion to determine as to when the payment shall be made as long as the payment of excess sum is fully settled within five (5) years.
Item 7 – Prospect of the Property
While the Company will continue with its existing business in the construction sector, the Property is intended to be developed into residential terrace houses.
Synergistic benefits are expected to be derived from the Property. The Property will enable the Company to provide more development project, thus enhancing its profitability.
The Company believes that the prospect for the property is optimistic in light of the demand of affordable houses in Kedah. The Management is of the view that the Property will contribute positively to the Company’s future earnings.
