Further to our announcements dated 29 January 2018, 18 January 2018, 19 December 2017, 21 August 2017, 10 August 2017, 15 February 2017, 1 December 2016, 30 November 2016, 2 September 2016, 25 August 2016, 22 July 2016, 13 May 2016, 3 March 2016, 2 February 2016, 28 August 2015, 3 October  2013 and 16 July 2013, pertaining to the litigation action taken by Comintel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comcorp against U Television Sdn Bhd & Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun in Civil Application No.: 08(f)-449-09/2015, the Board of Directors of Comcorp wishes to announce that Comintel received a Statutory Demand from UTV’s solicitors on 12 June 2018 to pay the sum of Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Two Million One Hundred and Ninety Eight Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty One  and Sen Forty Three (RM22,198,331.43) being UTV’s counterclaim against Comintel amounting to Ringgit Malaysia Twenty Million Eight Hundred and Thirty Three Thousand and Fifty Three (RM20,833,053.00) together with interest at the rate of eight per cent (8%) per annum calculated from 18 August 2017 until 12 June 2018, within twenty one (21) days from 12 June 2018. We will be seeking legal advice on this matter and will make the necessary announcement. This announcement is dated 12 June 2018.

（吉隆坡8日讯）由于复核申请遭驳回，Comintel Corp Bhd（Comcorp）将向U Television私人有限公司（UTV）支付2083万令吉的反诉索赔金额。

Comcorp今日指出，联邦法院于昨日的聆讯驳回独资子公司Comintel私人有限公司申请复核法庭于2017年8月18日颁布的庭令，

丹斯里陈志远持有付费电视营运商UTV。

根据今日向大马交易所的报备，Comcorp表示：“董事部谨此宣布，联邦法院昨日驳回Comintel申请复核2017年8月18日的庭令，须支付2000万令吉和法庭判定金额。”

“因此，Comintel将支付2083万3053令吉的反诉金额，连同利息和费用。”

Comintel于2017年8月21日要求对联邦法院的裁定进行复核。

Comcorp当天向马交所说，联邦法院已于同年8月18日决定允许UTV和陈志远提出上诉，并对Comintel提出2080万令吉的反诉。

Comcorp在2017年8月21日的文告中表示，该裁定对公司产生重大影响，并正在评估对财务的影响。

2017年12月19日，Comcorp报备说，在9月13日提交了一份动议通知和宣誓书，要求对联邦法院的裁决进行复核。

截至3时，该股跌1仙，报12.5仙，交投量有14万9400股。

(For consistency purposes, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as those previously defined in the announcement dated 22 January 2020 (“1st Announcement”), where applicable, unless stated otherwise or defined herein.) Further to the 1st Announcement, the Board of Directors of Comcorp wishes to announce that the Company had on 21April 2020 entered into a Supplemental Memorandum of Understanding with Dhaya Maju Infrastructure (Asia) Sdn Berhad and Datuk Seri Dr. Subramaniam A/L Sankaran Pillai (“Supplemental MOU”). The terms of the Supplemental MOU are as follows: 1.   The parties shall enter into a legally binding definitive agreement(s) as soon as practicable and in any event on or before 31 July 2020 or as may be mutually agreed by the parties       in writing. 2.   The termination/upliftment of the winding up status of Comintel Sdn Bhd shall be completed on or before 31 July 2020 or as may be mutually agreed by the parties in writing. 3.   Comcorp shall submit the Regularisation Plan to the regulatory authorities on or before 24 July 2020 or as may be mutually agreed by the parties in writing. 4.   Comcorp to dispose of the following loss-making subsidiaries or such other subsidiaries as may be mutually agreed by the parties in writing for no less than RM1.0 million:       (aa)     Comintel Sdn Bhd (wholly-owned subsidiary of Comcorp) and its subsidiaries;       (bb)     Comintel System Technologies Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Comintel Ship Systems Corporation Sdn Bhd) (wholly-owned subsidiary of Comcorp); and       (cc)     Comintel Green Technologies Sdn Bhd (50.6% owned subsidiary of Comcorp). 5.   The Placee(s) shall complete the due diligence review on or before 31 July 2020 or as may be mutually agreed by the parties in writing. 6.   Save and except for the variations as provided above, all other terms and conditions in the MOU shall remain unchanged and shall continue to have full force and effect. This announcement is dated 21 April 2020.
