控制成本抵消冲击 世界华文媒体第三季赚3711万

（吉隆坡26日讯）因出版与印刷业务营业额放缓，世界华文媒体（MEDIAC，5090，主板贸服股）截至去年底第三季，净利跌23.7%，报3711万2000令吉（1061万4000美元）。

该公司向马交所报备，因营运环境充满挑战，营业额下滑10%，录得3亿6781万4000令吉（1亿519万5000美元）。

世华媒体指出，第三季出版与印刷业务营业额下滑了11.5%，其中大马业务跌13.2%，香港则跌6.8%。

根据文告，由于消费税执行前，消费情绪疲弱且消费者谨慎开支，加上去年底面临严重水灾，影响了大马业务表现。

消费情绪疲弱，冲击广告开销，进而打击媒体广告收入。

不过，世华媒体透露，营运成本节省，抵消了部分较疲弱的业绩表现。同时，因加拿大元疲软影响，北美营业额滑落。

此外，世华媒体旅游业务也下滑3.7%，因为北美的业务面对挑战，尤其是到中国的旅行团面对激烈的价格竞争。

新闻纸价跌提供缓冲

截至去年底首9个月，世界华文媒体净利跌26%，报1亿118万2000令吉（2893万8000美元）；营业额则跌7%，录得11亿9696万令吉（3亿4233万1000美元）。

世界华文媒体集团总执行长兼执行董事张裘昌预计，世华媒体现财年内，主要市场营运环境将持续挑战。

“来季，大马因经济不明朗因素，导致消费情绪料持续疲弱，且消费税将冲击生活水平，令吉贬值也会加重消费者负担。”

不过，他指出，新闻纸价格下滑，可在艰难的营运环境中，给该公司一些缓冲。

世华媒体末季赚922万

（吉隆坡28日讯）受到减值亏损拖累，世界华文媒体（MEDIAC，5090，主板贸服股）截至3月底末季，净利大跌72.14%，报922万5000令吉（249万1000美元）。

该公司向马交所报备，因出版与印刷业务营业额持续放缓，导致末季营业额也下滑12.9%，录得3亿2149万7000令吉（8680万9000美元）。

不过，世华媒体指出，新闻纸成本降低，加上进行中的成本控制，抵消了营业额下滑幅度。

税前盈利增2.8%

此外，若排除减值亏损，末季的税前盈利实际上达1335万2000美元，按年增2.8%。

末季，因消费税导致商业环境不明朗，世华媒体大马业务营业额跌15.3%；零售市场尤其奢侈品消费情绪疲弱，导致广告商减少开销，拖累香港和中国业务，下滑5.5%。

此外，因经济放缓、气候酷冷和加拿大货币持续疲软，北美营业额也下滑15.5%。

同时，世华媒体旅游业务跌7.4%，但盈利赚幅更高，亏损幅度有所改善。

新闻纸价格跌成本降

累积全年，公司净利大跌34.8%，报1亿1639万7000令吉（3142万9000美元）；营业额则跌8.45%，录得15亿8932万令吉（4亿2914万美元）。

世华媒体集团总执行长张裘昌预计，今年和明年内都将充满挑战，因为公司业务版图的经济持续不明朗，且全球经济复苏缓慢。

他补充，4月开跑的消费税，将进一步打击消费者情绪和商情，短期内，会继续拖累大马媒体甚至是该公司表现。

不过，新闻纸价格来年还是会保持疲弱，在不明朗的商业环境中，有缓冲作用。

尽管面对挑战，世华媒体将专注于提升营业额及强化市场地位，同时，加强业务策略、提高生产力及营业额，谨慎管理成本。【南洋网财经】

移動優先、電子商務、雙管齊下‧世華鞏固全球多媒體地位

（吉隆坡15日訊）因應瞬息萬變之媒體業營運版圖及閱讀喜好的改變，世華媒體（MEDIAC，5090，主板貿服組）將繼續多元化發展“移動優先”的媒體資產，鞏固其環球多媒體集團地位，並促進電子商務業務。

在大馬，世華媒體集團正採取雙管齊下的數碼策略；其一為“移動優先”（Mobile First），為拓展數碼領域，集團為旗下所有報章及主要雜誌提供電子版本，可透過移動裝置閱讀。該集團已推出百格時視（Pocketimes）網上移動視頻門戶網站，播放每日新聞、時事、生活時尚和娛樂題材之網上短片。

其二為電子商務（E-commerce）；為了促進華人中小企業發展網上業務以帶動業務成長，世華媒體在今年初推出電子商務門戶網站熱購（Logon），大馬網上購物潛能無限，可供商家攫取其中商機。

世華媒體在回應《The Edge》財經周刊的書面詢問時表示，透過重組數碼網絡門戶網站以提供跨平台行銷方案給廣告商，以及擴展至電子報、電子雜誌和移動視頻，加上在電子商務市場的業務，已經為世華媒體帶來額外收入來源和商機。

世華媒體指出，截至2015年3月31日，世華媒體的土地和建築的淨賬面值約6千450萬美元，去年同期則為7千450萬美元，淨賬面值下跌是因貨幣轉換差異和年度折舊開銷所致。
這些土地將繼續充作世華媒體全球報章出版印刷業務的營運用途。

目前無法透露任何產業計劃

針對分析員認為世華媒體正尋求進軍產業發展，以多元化其業務，世華媒體指出，由於本地和海外媒體版圖快速轉變，世華媒體向來的策略就是尋求業務組合多元化的機會，為了進一步推動非傳統收入來源，並鞏固印刷媒體的市場份額，世華媒體透過業務多元化，若可能將包括產業發展，以不遺餘力地改善獲利和營運效率。

針對傳言指世華媒體將發展一些土地包括吉隆坡里昂路（Jalan Riong）的地段，世華媒體表示，除非有良好的業務機會到來，否則目前無法透露任何特定地點的發展計劃。

在傳言世華媒體正探討多元化至教育領域方面，世華媒體指出，其香港營運早已擴張至教育領域，出版香港中學課程若干科目的平面和電子教科書。該集團將繼續發展和擴張此業務，包括機會到來時展開收購。

跨足產業不急一時‧世華媒體探討進軍非媒體業務

（吉隆坡6日訊）世華媒體（MEDIAC,5090,主板貿服組）正探討進軍非媒體業務商機，其中包括電子零售、教育、產業發展等，但將優先考量任何與集團核心業務相關的擴張計劃。

詢及是否有意跨足產業市場，該公司行政總裁兼執行董事張裘昌在出席股東大會後表示，將探討相關業務可能，但現未有確切決定。

“我們並不急於一時，我們想要等候最佳時機。”

同時，他也澄清董事部並未接獲任何產業發展獻議。

市場早前盛傳，包括世界華文媒體在內的數家媒體集團，正探討進軍產業市場機會。

至於教育領域，張裘昌指出，香港業務現已擴張至教育領域，出版香港中學課程若干科目的平面和電子教科書，集團將繼續發展和擴張相關業務。

今年業務續挑戰重重

另一方面，消費稅開跑，加上馬幣貶值和廣告開銷低迷等衝擊，世華媒體相信今年業務持續挑戰重重，但將通過多元化媒體產品和平台，以及審慎管理成本，期望今年盈利表現能與去年相符。

張裘昌表示，今年業務前景仍充滿挑戰，出版業務將持續面對壓力，加上時下讀者需求不斷改變，將繼續投資多元化媒體產品和平台，藉此建立嶄新收入來源，及強化讀者基礎。

“市場現正鞏固調整，汰弱留強向來是不變的定律，集團預見機會的浮現，因此需要藉此強化實力來享受最後勝利的果實。”

他說，雖然多媒體業務現僅佔集團總營業額的不足5%，但仍需要積極建設相關平台，以為廣告客戶提供更多的選擇。

“透過重組數碼網絡門戶網站以提供跨平台行銷方案給廣告商，以及擴展至電子報、電子雜誌和移動視頻，加上在電子商務市場的業務，將為集團帶來額外收入來源和商機。”

他補充，集團旗下電子報在推介短短一年內即已取得6萬3千位用戶，而百格時事每月的瀏覽量也達到250萬次，電子媒體趨勢不可逆轉，集團作為內容供應商，也瞭解到讀者閱讀和消費模式的變化，因此需要貫徹“移動優先”的策略。

至於核心印刷媒體表現，張裘昌表示，新聞紙價格在過去1年不斷下滑至現每公噸500美元水平，但馬幣兌美元匯率也從3.00水平貶至3.86、3.87關口，因此在馬幣貶勢大於新聞紙價格的情況下，大馬印刷業務的新聞紙成本不減反增。

不過，今年首6個月，國內報紙廣告開銷持續下跌，其中中文報廣告開銷下跌4%，比英文和馬來文報紙的10%和12%為輕，顯示出中文報表現相對穩健。

但他說，受到消費稅影響，消費者、乃至商家開銷日趨審慎，總體效應可能需要數月才能消散，希望消費者情緒能在年杪復甦。

冀今年盈利與去年一致

“我們去年的業務受到許多不幸的事件衝擊，儘管今年業務也持續充滿挑戰，但我們審慎管理成本，並積極擴大營業額表現，希望今年盈利表現能與去年一致。”

同時，張裘昌強調，雖然媒體業困難重重，但集團無意仿效同儕裁減人手，將通過人力資源調配和培訓來提昇員工的生產效率。

至於馬幣匯價下跌衝擊，他表示，馬幣貶值確實會對集團業務帶來些許衝擊，但總體影響不會太大。

“集團2015財政年外匯虧損僅12萬4千美元，相等於營業額的0.02%，並未顯著曝露於外匯市場。我們不是航空公司，並不需要進行對衝。”

派息介於30至60%

世華媒體在週四舉行的第25屆常年股東大會，小股東踴躍出席，並提出一些本身關注的問題，而這些問題也一一獲得董事部的耐心回應。

其中，有股東詢及派息政策，張裘昌回應說，集團並未擬定派息政策，但派息指引普遍介於30至60%，以回饋股東長期支持。

“在過去多年，我們只有1年淨利派息為40%，其餘都達到平均50%水平。”

他解釋，集團的派息水平胥視盈利表現、財務狀況，以及儲備現金或併購彈藥的需求。

“但是，我們的派息不只是看百份比，也看創造出來的回酬（Yield）。”

他補充，集團現淨負債為5.1%，若財務表現進一步改善，屆時股東們可以要求更多的股息。

小股東監督機構（MSWG）問答錄

問：集團在過去2個財政年財報表現持續惡化，而截至2015年3月31日止第四季財報淨利更是大幅下跌，董事部已採取措施應對嚴峻的營運環境，預期何時能扭轉疲勢？

答：上財政年第四季淨利大幅下滑，主要是為商譽減值虧損和聯號公司權益減值虧損，若排除減值損失，第四季盈利增加約2%。

隨著互聯網盛行，報業面對嚴重挑戰，而香港免費報推介對付費報紙業務帶來更大壓力。我們察覺市場競爭激烈、開銷情緒審慎，甚至是馬幣貶值可能推高大馬業務營運成本等衝擊。

我們相信高品質報道，將是媒體集團長期持續增長的關鍵；我們也投資資源來建設數碼功能，以通過印刷、網站、流動應用、廣播和社交媒體等多元平台為讀者傳遞新聞與信息，這將讓我們通過跨平台渠道來更好的服務廣告客戶。

問：董事部能否分享大眾媒體領域發展意見，以及消費稅落實帶來的潛在影響。

答：儘管消費稅落實，但大馬報紙銷售並未徵稅。雖然廣告需徵收6%稅務，但相關稅務將由客戶支付，對集團並無影響。

不過，消費稅落實已對消費者情緒帶來衝擊，並反映在商業環境表現上，可能導致廣告市場疲弱，惟預期相關影響只屬短期。

意識到媒體領域的多元挑戰，集團將繼續拓展數碼業務，並鞏固印刷業務市佔率，以及探討海內外新業務機會。

問：世華媒體在2014和2015財政年分別作出兩筆商譽減值虧損，董事部預期何時減值能取得回撥？是否考慮脫售聯號公司來止損？

答：集團在2015財政年分別為光明日報私人有限公司，以及OneMedia集團旗下的ByRead有限公司和中國子公司作出530萬美元、190萬美元和40萬美元的商譽減值虧損。

ByRead主要從事流動增值服務，但表現卻因付款渠道匱乏而受到抑制，因此未來將繼續探討退出機會和尋求潛在買家。

光明日報在2014/2015財政年取得盈利，管理層將持續改善營業表現，預料2016財政年不會作出任何撥備。

問：數碼業務對集團2015財政年淨利貢獻，以及未來業務前景？

旅遊業報捷開銷減 世界華文媒體首季淨利增至3335萬

（吉隆坡26日訊）旅遊業務報捷，營運開銷減少，世界華文媒體（MEDIAC，5090，主要板貿服）在營運環境深具挑戰下，首季淨利仍按年增6.6%至3335萬令吉。

截至6月底，該公司首季營業額則按年減13%至3億7720萬令吉，唯每股盈利增至1.96仙。

世華媒體文告中指出，業績亦受貨幣匯率波動影響，期間令吉及加拿大元，兌美元分別貶值13.2%及12.9%，營業額及稅前盈利，及利息、稅務、折舊與攤銷前盈利皆告下滑。

文告中指出，受生活成本提高、令吉持續貶值、執行消費稅后不明朗等因素影響，消費及經商業情緒疲軟，導致大馬業務營業額按年減21.3%至5249萬6000美元（約2.23億令吉）。

受貶值影響

“不過在集團執行有效成本管理策略后，以令吉計價后獲利按年增10.1%，但由于令吉大幅貶值，無法全面反映在以美元報備業績內。”

該公司指出，若排除匯率因素，大馬業務營業額則僅跌11%。

世華媒體總執行長張裘昌指出，近期人民幣貶值、原油及原產品價格下滑，外圍經濟環境動盪， 集團全球業務皆受挑戰。

（吉隆坡11日訊）世界華文媒體（MEDIAC，5090，主要板貿服）成立台灣One Media集團，涉及雜誌廣告和出版業務。

世華媒體向馬證交所報備，One Media集團通過獨資子公司，即MediaNet廣告私人有限公司，于上週五（4日）在台灣成立名為台灣One Media集團的新子公司。

根據報備文件，One Media集團同時建議，為旗下Top Plus、Ming Pao Finance有限公司，以及明報（Ming Pao）雜誌有限公司，進行內部重組。此舉將改善和簡化公司架構，提高管理層效率和企業發展。

完成重組后，上述3家公司仍是One Media集團間接獨資子公司。

（吉隆坡25日訊）世界華文媒體（MEDIAC，5090，主要板貿服）上半財年業績受市場消費情緒疲軟及貨幣貶值等因素衝擊，不過仍宣布每股派息1.93仙。

世華媒體向馬證交所報備指出，次季每股派息1.93仙，較上財年同期1.89仙稍高。

截至9月底，世華媒體次季營業額按年跌20%至4億2771萬令吉，淨利則按年滑24%至3346萬令吉。該公司上半年營業額則按年跌17%至8億6714萬令吉，淨利按年減10%至7232萬令吉。

文告指出，除了面對廣告市場及消費情緒疲軟影響，貨幣貶值衝擊業績，若排除貨幣貶值因素，次季營業額跌幅將降至8.2%。

出版及平面媒體次季營業額及盈利，受以上因素衝擊，分別按年下滑26.5%及35.3%，不過若排除匯率貶值因素，跌幅將大幅收窄至11.7%及16.2%。

大馬業務次季營業額亦下滑30.6%，淨利跌25.9%，若排除匯率因素，跌幅分別為11.8%及4.7%。

世華媒體總執行長張裘昌指出，令吉持續貶值、原油價格低落、消費稅及生活成本提高導致經濟不穩定，同時削弱國內消費能力，對廣告及零售市場構成影響。

传阿里巴巴洽购《明报》双方否认 世华媒体香港盘中飙38%

（吉隆坡17日讯）市场传言，阿里巴巴洽购香港《明报》，刺激母公司世华媒体（MEDIAC，5090，主板贸服股）在香港股价一度急升近38%，但阿里巴巴集团发言人较后否认传言。

《澳洲金融评论》早前引述消息说，开始洽谈收购《明报》，洽谈目前还在进行中。

该报道激励《明报》母公司世华媒体，今日以1.19港币跳空高开，并在早盘一度冲上1.50港元，激增38%，创近4个月半新高。

不过，路透社引述阿里巴巴发言人，较后否认了该集团正向世界华文媒体公司洽购旗下香港中文报章《明报》。

这也让世华媒体在香港的股价收窄升幅，最后以1.22港元挂收，全日升11.93%或0.13港元，而成交量则从周三的1000股，增加至219万股。

大中华区有影响力

《明报》由查良镛（金庸）和沈宝新在1959年5月20日创立，是香港乃至大中华地区较有影响力的报章。

此前，阿里巴巴宣布以2.66亿美元（约11.5亿令吉）收购香港《南华早报》。

张裘昌：不知大涨原因

此外，世华媒体总执行长兼执行董事张裘昌，今天也代表董事部发文告表示，已注意到香港上市的股票价格和交易量在今早大涨，但对于造成价量齐升的原因毫不知情。

此外，他也提醒股东和潜在投资者，在交易该股时谨慎操作。

世华媒体是一家双边上市的公司，股票同时在吉隆坡及香港上市。

至于在大马的股价，则一度略起3%，闭市报62.5仙，全日攀升2.5仙或4.167%，共有32万8100股成交。【南洋网财经】
