i just start using ubutun many thing dono how to set yet..so i dono how to type chinese using ubutun...pls forgive me for the moment.....
i want using the Rhythmbox to play mp3 file....someone ask me install the gstreamer but i got the problem below....

Package gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 has no installation candidate

你应该是没有加extra repositories吧！

所以有很多软件都不可以安装。

你要先开一个户口才可以看看里面的资料。

如果要容易就安装automatix2。里面有很多软件可以安装只是把要装的软件打勾就可以了。

记得要先加extra repositori。

你用linux的目的是什么？

如果可以，你可以试试安装atchek的myrinix。
安装又快又容易。

用ubuntu安装软件又要等很久。
自己考虑吧！

我已经试过把sources.list 给换了。还是不能

那个source 是给libxine-extracodecs 的啊？

要找CODEC
就试试 w32codecs

试试吧。上次就是w32codecs 失败了才用libxine-extracodecs 的。
结果这次是libxine-extracodecs 的问题

将 synapic package manager， software update 关掉，同时不要运行超过一个 apt-get。写华语就用 SCIM ， FCITX 等等输入法，待会将网址给你。
