It's May 6 and you arrive at one of the club's busy stores to pick up Liverpool's brand new adidas home kit.

But have you ever wondered how it came to be? For most fans it's all about what trophies are won in which kit - but what if that memorable top had involved a slightly different design?

There is no simple answer; but to ensure we have the very best kit possible there is a design process from the sketch pad right through to how it appears in the shop window.

October 2008 - THE INSPIRATION.
2008年10月-灵感初现

The designer and product development team travelled to Liverpool to visit Anfield and the club museum in order to gain inspiration from our history and tradition.
设计和产品开发团队造访安菲尔德和俱乐部博物馆，希望从利物浦的历史和传统中获得启发。

The team also attended the club's Academy to discuss the project and potential ideas with a focus group made up of some of our young players.

November 2008 - THE BRIEF

The Design Brief is submitted by the adidas UK product team to the adidas Global product team.

December 2008 - INITIAL SKETCHES
2008年12月-初步草稿

The first match wear sketches are received from the Global product creation team. Feedback is given by the adidas UK product team.
全球开发团队制作出第一个球衣草图发给英国制作团队。英国方面给出反馈。




January 2009 -FINAL SKETCHES
2009年1月-最终草稿

Revised sketches are received and adidas arrange the initial sketch/concept presentation with the club. Once approval is received from the club, they progress to the first sample stage.
得到反馈信息以后，进行修改，与俱乐部方面进行草稿和设计概念的交流。一旦俱乐部采纳了球衣设计的想法，开发团队就进入初步样品阶段。




April 2009 - SAMPLES
2009年4月-样品

The first proto samples are received and presented to relevant personnel at the club. Once the first samples are approved adidas move on to the second sample stage.
第一批样品制作出来，并分发给俱乐部的相关个人进行体验。一旦最初的样品反响不赖，将转入下一阶段的样品阶段。






July 2009 - FINAL SAMPLES
2009年7月-最终样品

The final samples are received and shown to the club for the final sign off.
最终的样品制作出来。阿迪就球衣合作事宜，将与俱乐部方面签署合同。





July 2009-May 2010 - 'GO TO MARKET' PHASE
2009年7月-2010年5月-市场营销阶段

The kits are officially approved and adidas commence the 'Go To Market' process in terms of presenting the concept and kits to retailers and taking orders for delivery in May 2010.
球衣将得到官方授权，在市场上宣传设计理念，并授权各零售店为2010年5月发售球衣，提供订单式服务。
