英雄类型


Plasma

Plasma deals with fire, lava, magma and electricity. Examples of Plasma abilities include setting enemies on fire, firing bursts of lethal electroplasma, creating walls of fire to defend against foes, and morphing into bolts of 'living lightning' that can travel at breakneck speed and harm opponents that get in the way.


Zrin the Sun Fist is a Plasma Sentinel from Cryos. Thanks to his great size, musculature and strength, can use powerful melee attacks to decimate enemies.



Blitz the Storm Striker is a Plasma Ravager from the planet Cryos, in the upcoming game Darkspore. He has mainly Lightning-based abilities, and has a slightly reptilian appearance. In a hero squad, he pairs particularly well with Magnos, due to his 'Plasma Wreath' ability, as pointed out in the 'Squads and Abilities' video from Maxis.

  

Krel the Living Firestorm is a canine-like Plasma Ravager from the game Darkspore.He shares his genesis type and class with Blitz.

  

Lumin: The Lightning Provoker is a Plasma Tempest from Darkspore. He is from the planet Cryos.His attacks are lightning-based, so to even out the plasmagenesis type, Char was given all fire-based abilities.



Char: The Blazing Inferno is a Plasma Tempest from Cryos in the game Darkspore. His attacks are fire-based and were made that way to even out the lightning-based attacks Lumin has. He has 6 legs and a tail, and no arms.


Bio

Bio deals with plants, animals, and life-force. Examples of Bio abilities include spawning small alien companions as combat support, creating large biological structures to block off enemies, and firing fungal blobs that detonate upon impact and leave a long-lasting residue of harmful acid.


Sage the Life Forester is a Bio Tempest from the upcoming game, Darkspore. His species is of a race of green, quadrupedal, plant-like aliens, from the planet Verdanth.





Tork the Fungal King is a Bio Tempest from the game Darkspore. He shares his Genesis type and class with Sage. His face is concealed by a metallic gas mask, and his abilities focus on the manipulation of the special qualities of fungi, spores, and similar plant-like life-forms. He is notably quite bulky for a Tempest.







Viper the Toxic Ravager is a Bio Ravager from the game Darkspore. He has six limbs and a sightly insectoid appearance. He originates from Verdanth, where he used to be a primitive weapon maker, untill Astra made his skin poisonous, allowing him to become a toxic killer.



Arborus: The Veridian Protector is a Bio Sentinel from Darkspore. He has an appearance akin to that of a troll or ogre with arms and legs like those of tree limbs.




Savage the Lord of Beasts is a Bio Sentinel from Verdanth in the game Darkspore.



Cyber

Cyber deals with the power of technology. Examples of Cyber abilities include summoning armed robot drones to hold off opponents, electrocuting enemies with electric weapons, firing volleys of deadly bullets and firing off timed mines, laying traps, and delivering blasts of overwhelming electrical energy.

Goliath the Energy Guardian is a Cyber Sentinel from the upcoming game, Darkspore. He comes from the planet Infinity, and seems to be partially made of parts from the Spore Bot Parts Pack. Unlike most Sentinels, which fight using only their bare hands, Goliath uses a weapon called the Protonic Sword, which he uses to defend refugees and exiles.



Meditron the Repair-Bot is a Cyber Tempest from the game Darkspore. He was a retired medic who inhabited Infinity, but a pack of Darkspore mutants hunted him down when he returned from an event. Repurposing his healing system as a weapon, he soon found himself joining the Crogenitor Insurgency to fight off the Darkspore invaders. He shares his Genesis type and class with SRS-42.



Titan the Impenetrable is a Cyber Sentinel from the game Darkspore. He uses mainly heavy weaponry to defeat his enemies. Titan was the very first Living Weapon revealed to share the same class and Genesis type with another Darkspore hero. Just like SRS-42, Titan used to be a normal organic being who worked in a factory on Infinity. After accidentally falling and plummeting several stories to his death, Suzu had pitty on him and brought his body back to life as a Cyborg.



SRS-42 the Missile Commander is a Cyber Tempest in Darkspore who uses ranged explosive weapons as his primary means of attack. He was nearly killed by a poisonous gas in the factory he worked at, but Suzu rescued him and turned him into a cyborg in order to help him defend Infinity from the Darkspore invasion.



Seraph-X5: The Infiltrator (commonly just called "Seraph") is a Cyber Ravager from the game Darkspore. She was originally a Combot, one of the drones used to fight the Darkspore on Infinity, until Suzu reprogrammed her to have free will and a personality.



Quantum

Quantum deals with the manipulation of Space and Time. Examples of Quantum abilities include teleportation, speeding up and slowing down time, generating gravity fields that knock back or pull in opponents, creating Black holes, and sending enemies into other dimensions. Quantum characters tend to be Blue colored with some simian or fish-like qualities.





Andromeda the Gravitic Warmaster is a Quantum Tempest from the upcoming game Darkspore. She has a very humanoid appearance, albeit sporting wings, four-jointed legs, tentacle-like hair, and a tail. She seems quite similar to the common depiction of a pixie. She appears to have bright glowing lights where her eyes would normally be, and her aura manifests as two blue rings on the ground she stands upon. Of all the Female characters, she is the most feminine looking.


Orion the Lightspeed Tempest is a Quantum Tempest from Darkspore. He moves around by use of a hover-pack, despite having legs. He shares his Type and Class with Andromeda. Orion was the second hero announced with the ability to fly, the first one being Jinx.


Magnos the Binary Star Sentinel is a Quantum Sentinel from Zelem's Nexus who is able to manipulate gravity and mass. His abilities, although shared by most members of his species, are unique because of a natural mutation he possesses that makes him more powerful than any other fighter in his clan. Originally a warrior who fought for sport in the ring, the Darkspore invasion forced him to join The Crogenitor Insurgency and use his abilities to repel the monstrous invaders.


Maldri the Quantum Raider is a Quantum Ravager from the upcoming game, Darkspore. He is an especially powerful hero with a remarkably high level of stats, who is very difficult to acquire in the normal version of the game, be can be unlocked earlier be pre-ordering Darkspore. He is from Zelem's Nexus. He used to be a thief, and while raiding Zelem's abandoned hideout, he accidentally activated a ray gun that shot him, and granted him his Quantum powers.

He shares his Type and Class with Vex. He can be unlocked with Krel and Revenant at Crogenitor Level 11.

A recent post on the Darkspore forums has confirmed that Paul Sottosanti is trying to make the Gamma variant of Maldri the hero that will be unlocked via preorder. Many playes voted Maldri Gamma due to his high dexterity, unique variant ability, as well as ironic position at Crogenitor Level 42.


Vex the Chrono-Shifter is a Quantum Ravager from Zelem's Nexus. He use to be Zelem's prime test subject in his lab, and after testing out a nearly-lethal mutation experiment, Vex was not only left with the ability to teleport at will and manipulate localized time, but also gained his trademark neon blue glowing colors, a strange side-effect of the experiment. He departed from working with Zelem after his disappearance to fight the The Darkspore within The Crogenitor Insurgency.

Necro

Necro deals with death, darkness, fear, souls, and twisting reality. Examples of Necro abilities include; paralyzing foes with frightening visions, shifting into a ghost-like form that cause them to take much less damage, casting deadly curses, damaging enemies by passing through them, siphoning away enemies’ life-force, absorbing extra power from dead enemies’ souls, throwing dark-matter bombs that cancel out the very atoms of foes, and casting enemies away into a dark limbo for eternity. Necro characters usually have a Purple coloration, and tend to have a skeletal or bug-like appearance. If they have hands, they tend to be long, thin, and clawed.


Jinx the Dark Reaper is a Necro Tempest from the upcoming game, Darkspore. She is from the planet Nocturna. So far, Orion and her are the only flying Heroes in Darkspore. Other than being a member of the Nocturni Legion, her relations towards Arakna are unknown.


Revenant: Deathraider of the Stars is a Necro Tempest from Darkspore. He is the only tripod hero in Darkspore.


Wraith the Spectre of Vengeance, is a Necro Sentinel from Darkspore. He originates from Nocturna.



Arakna: the Soul Collector is a Necro Ravager from Nocturna, and resembles a spider, as her name suggests.

She one of the only four female heroes in Darkspore, the others being Andromeda, Jinx, and Seraph-XS.

She was once a member of The Nocturni Legion, however, she isn’t anymore, since The Darkspore conquered Nocturna, and defeated them. Other than once being a member of The Nocturni Legion, it is unknown if she has any relations towards Jinx.


Skar, the Shadow of Death is a Necro Ravager from Darkspore.
