company granded banker guarantee to other company.
应该 disclosed limit figure or outstandng balance as per bank confirmation?? 还有， if disclosed the limit or balance figure, got any standard to support?
最好是有啦，因我的 audit partner 肯定会问 why disclosed like this, why disclosed this figure & what standard said so.

我又有问提了!
In construction a/c got CWIP (Closing Work In Progress), sometime is amount due to contract customers, sometime is amount due from customers, can anyone explain to me why hv such amount due to/from contract customer? what is the reason?

Then after calculate the % of completion method, its the below double entry is corret?
For Eg.
Revenue             6,590 (figure arived from % of Completion method)
Progress Billing    6,185

The double entry I put as:

Dr Progress Billing  6,185
Dr CWIP                405
Cr     Revenue            6,590

那样做，对吗？

CWIP 是不是 retension sum anount hold?

想知道何时会出现 Amount Owing from Contract Customsers， 何时又会出现 Amount Due to Contract Customers????
In Construction Work In Progress.

其实决定 Amt due fr/(to) customers
最大的关键就是 billing 的速度
让我们来引用 kk610 在 #295 的例子
你应该有注意到…
Revenue recognised 已经 RM 1,300 了
--------
第一个 case … billing 的速度比较慢
值 RM 1,300 的contract 才只 billed RM 1,000
这样哪里可以？亏大本了… 不是吗？
所以剩下的 RM 300 是顾客应该欠他的啦！

第二个 case 恰恰相反

根据 MASB 7 Para 45 (不好意思 我没有 FRS)：

Retentions are amounts of progress billings which are not paid until the satisfaction of conditions
specified in contract for the payment of such amounts or until defects have been rectified.

所以 蓝咖啡 认为 CWIP 应该是…
Revenue recognised 和 progress billing 的相差
而且只是给 contract in progress 而已~~
如果一个 contract 完成了 就不会有 CWIP 了也

不过一个完成的 contract 还是会有 rentention 的
它会在 trade debtors 那边 这个可是要 disclosed 的哦~

第一个 case 应该没问题.
问题在于第二个 case .
竟然 Speed of Billing 比较快，为何会变成 Amount Owing to Contract Customers?
我的 Audit Partner 的问题就是为何我们会倒欠她们呢？
