冀新财年续获利派息 友联专注核心业务

（吉隆坡31日讯）尽管全球经济放缓导致友联控股（UMS，7137，主板贸服股）的2013财年净利滑落，但该公司将致力通过内部增长，放眼新财年继续获利及派息。

友联控股董事经理黄成光在常年股东大会后，向《南洋商报》指出，鉴于全球经济仍无法显著回弹，加上市场竞争剧烈，该公司因而谨慎乐观看待现财年前景。

“我们将继续专注于发展核心业务，包括分销机械动力传输、材料处理系统和工业零部件等，让公司持续增长，以便至少维持上财年的营业额与净利表现。”

截至去年9月杪财年，友联控股营业额8567万1000令吉，比2012财年的8177万3000令吉，按年微扬4.8%。

全年净利跌17%

全年净利则按年跌16.5%至1098万5000令吉，2012财年为1315万2000令吉。

基于外围因素仍欠明朗，友联控股在截至去年12月杪首季的营业额与净利，分别按年降低13.5%及35.4%，至1986万令吉及200万8000令吉。
暂不并购

黄成光披露，由于商业环境仍充满太多未知数，友联控股暂时不考虑把业务多元化，以及进行并购活动。

“除非那是很诱人且价格便宜的并购活动，那么我们不排除会采取行动，否则我们只想专注于强化内部增长。”

稍早前，该公司耗资了大约1000万令吉，在位于泗岩末的现有厂房隔壁收购了1块面积约1.5英亩的地皮，以便把现有仓库与物流设备扩充1倍。

黄成光预计，下半年可批准取得相关单位批准，展开建筑工程，并预计在1年内建竣。
