Ewein：没有参与槟海底隧道项目

（吉隆坡16日讯）Ewein Bhd表示，该集团并没有以任何形式参与备受争议的63亿令吉槟城海底隧道项目。

Ewein今日在文告指出，该集团通过子公司Ewein Land私人有限公司只是在2013年与Consortium Zenith Construction私人有限公司成立一家联营公司，以发展位于Bandar Tanjong Pinang的3.67英亩地，价值1亿3300万令吉。

Ewein还驳斥从槟州政府获地的指控。

“Ewein Land和Consortium Zenith通过联营公司Ewein Zenith私人有限公司，在一项商业交易中共同发展该地，且获提交予大马交易所的估值报告证明。”

“联营公司的细节已经向马交所发布，并且是公开信息。”

Ewein拥有Ewein Zenith的73%股权，余下的27%由Consortium Zenith所持有。

Ewein表明，通过持股60%的Ewein Zenith II私人有限公司，在2015年还达成了另一项协议，以1亿6200万令吉收购Bandar Tanjong Pinang的4.4英亩地。

“再次说明，这是向Consortium Zenith而不是槟州政府购买的地段。这是Ewein Zenith II和Consortium Zenith之间的一个商业交易，而有关收购详情已向马交易报备，并且是公开的信息。”

然而，Ewein指出，Ewein Zenith II已经决定终止协议，因州政府最终转让予Consortium Zenith的土地是2英亩，不是买卖协议所同意的4.4英亩。这项终止计划也有向马交所报备。

根据Ewein Zenith和Consortium Zenith于2016年签署的协议备忘录，获得收购关仔角50英亩待填海地的权利。Ewein说，该地是填海项目的一部分，负责的公司与Ewein或其任何子公司并没有关联。

“由于填海工程还在进行中，这片土地还在海里。”

针对目前还押，以协助大马反贪污委员会（MACC）调查槟海底隧道项目的集团董事经理拿督尤瑞庆，Ewein表示，这项调查是基于最近有一个人投报。

“在这种情况下，我们明确支持我们的集团董事经理，且将尽力协助调查，以确保迅速有结论。”
