Q8.		What are the charges for GSA?
A8.		The administrative fee is calculated monthly at 0.25% p.a. of the highest gold balance each month, subject to a monthly minimum charge of 0.12grams of gold. The monthly fees are accumulated and the total is debited from the account at the end of each year or upon closure of the account, in grams of gold. For example, (a) If your highest gold balance is 100 grams each month of the year, (12 months): - Monthly administrative charge calculated based on 0.25% p.a. = 0.021 grams - Monthly minimum administrative charge = 0.12 grams The administrative fee debited at the end of the year is (0.12 x 12) 1.44 grams of gold (b) If your highest gold balance is 1000 grams each month of the year (12 months): - Monthly admin charges calculated based on 0.25% p.a. = 0.21 grams - Monthly minimum administrative charge = 0.12 grams The administrative fee debited at the end of the year is (0.21 x 12) 2.50 grams of gold. The actual gold quantity deducted from your account at the end of the year will be subject to the Goods & Services Tax (GST).
