The applicants are required to enrolled in MSc Program in UTAR with a scope of job to carry out chemical synthesis of phenylccumarin derivatives, to purify synthetic compounds via recrystallization and chromatographic methods, to characterize the structure of isolated compounds via NMR, MS, UV, IR and other instrumental analyses, to investigate the cytotoxic properties of isolated compounds towards a panel of human cancer cell lines via MTT method and to conduct antioxidant assay on the isolated compound.
