马哈迪宣布退出巫统！

在逼宫首相纳吉下台近一年后，前首相马哈迪今天宣布退出巫统！


马哈迪今天召开记者会，宣布退党，原因是这已经不是原本的巫统了。


“这只是一个支持纳吉的政党。”


此外，马哈迪也强调，不会成立一个新政党，更不会加入任何政党。另外，他也表示希望慕尤丁可以跟随他的脚步，一起退出巫统。


这也是马哈迪第二次退出巫统。2008年5月，当时正在施压前首相阿都拉下台的马哈迪，也曾宣布退党，但在纳吉上任首相后，于2009年4月正式重返巫统。


必须一提的是，亲巫统部落客Papagomo星期六下午就曾宣布，前首相马哈迪将宣布退出巫统。不过，当时马哈迪的助理否认有关传言。

第二步创党，尽其所能搞分裂，把那些不得意，又有一定影响力的人物，集中一起，搞窝里翻

算了啦,不管老马退不退出,只要大部分马来人的思维不改变,那还是没用的,巫统还是那个巫统。。。
华人最好还是保持低调就算了,尤其是英语系华人最好还是不要随之起舞,让他们内斗个饱就好。。。

Malaysia's former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad announced on Monday (Feb 29)  his intention to leave the ruling Umno party after months of criticisms of Prime Minister Najib Razak went unheeded.

He told a packed news conference that Umno was no longer what it used to be and is now "Najib's party".

"I want to leave Umno because it is no longer Umno. It is a party dedicated to supporting Najib, protecting Najib to upholding whatever he does, including some of the wrong things he has done", said Tun Dr Mahathir.

"I cannot be a member of such a party," he said, adding that his wife Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali was also leaving the party.

Dr Mahathir said he will not be joining any other party because he is "Umno at heart".

However, he will be aligning himself to a core group of Malaysians who have the same goal of seeing Datuk Seri Najib removed from power.

This is the second time Dr Mahathir is quitting the party, which he led from 1981 to 2003 when he was prime minister.

He first quit in May 2008 during the tenure of then Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

In 2009, he rejoined Umno when Mr Najib became prime minister.
