Stamp duty 100% discount below RM300k for 1st home buyer

大家好，关于2017年买第一间房子，房价低于RM300k的100% stamp duty的折扣，律师说由于现在Stamp office还没有收到perintah, 所以还是要还100%，过后再 claim refund。是这样吗？

我昨天call去stamp duty office问，officer说就连application form都还没出来，我说Warta已经出来了，他们说知道，可是他们还没有收到明确的arahan,所以叫我等到月尾。

3个条件

1.  第一间屋子
2. 房价不超过500k  (waive 300k而已 ，假设屋价 400k , 你只需要付 100k 的stamp duty 。)
3. 2017 到 2018年之间买的


这个真的很划算 ，可以省 6 - 8 千零吉

Stamp Duty
• To encourage home ownership, the current 50% stamp
duty exemption for first-time home buyers which was due
to expire on 31 December 2016 will be enhanced and
extended. A 100% stamp duty exemption will now be
given on the purchase of a first home costing not more
than RM300,000. For houses priced between RM300,000
and RM500,000, the stamp duty exemption will still be
given but only in respect of the value of RM300,000. For
houses costing more than RM500,000, there will not be
any stamp duty exemption. This exemption will be
available for sale and purchase and housing loan
agreements entered into between 1 January 2017 and 31
December 2018.
• On the other hand, there will be an increase in the rate
of stamp duty on instruments for the transfer of real
property worth more than RM1 million. The rate will
increase from 3% to 4% with effect from 1 January 2018.

哈咯，请问那位大大有内幕消息？
我今天call去stamp office问多一次，officer说putrajaya到现在还没有给arahan,要先给100%过后才claim refund.

300k以下就可以不用给。310以上就没有50%discount 了。不知道好事还是坏事…………
