面试时的background check会查忧郁症吗？

各位大大，

目前大学最后一个学期，但患上轻微忧郁症。

很想去看psychiatrist,但害怕面试时background check会被查出。

因为6月考完试。或许4-5月就要投履历表了。

所以想知道面试时的background check会去查你在医院的病历吗？

以下这个想法不是贬低相关人士。因身边有同样的亲人，只要我们不順着他，或者立场相左时，就会说他有忧郁症，我们正常人必需谅解和接受。

一直對忧郁症这个字眼抱着很大的疑惑，这是遗传基因造成的 ? 后天环境的影响所致 ? 个人性格太自我而形成 ? 走不出自己所设定的立场和期望 ?
为何那些权贵达人，如李家诚，Bill Gate, 习近平，纳吉，刘特佐，纳支里，等等，都不会患上忧郁症 ?
相对的，有忧郁症的人士，都是一些人生路途走得不順利的或者不怎么有钱之人。

据我所知，background screening顶多查查看你在现在或之前的公司时的工作表现（如有没有纪律问题、是否问题员工）、有没有犯罪记录、有没有财务问题罢了。
健康方面“如果”他要你去检查，一般上就是验血、验尿、X光和physical examination。之所以说如果是因为有些注重个人隐私的MNC公司都已经不这么做了。

你提的都很正确。

只是说，如果楼主去看心理医生，而医生给一些药物来治疗，一些抗压药物（例如：xanax, alprazolam, Lexapro ）会出现在验血和验尿的报告，验血和验尿的目的是看员工是否有服用上瘾的药物（drug），楼主如果看了医生也服了药，去做体验前几天，就尽量不要服用这些药物。

这个世界每一个人都有忧郁症，只是严重不严重的问题。

也许是忧郁症的人不会有那种强大的抗压能力在那个位置，自然你就看不到那些位置的人有忧郁症了。

不会der，一般要check都是check你以前的工作背景先，我觉得malaysia是没有这么严格到check到这么深入

忧郁症多数出现在心理自制能力比较弱者身上，那些强势大众一般少体现出来。

看公司，像我这类小公司也会做 Drug Test，主要的目的是避免请到瘾君子。
当然，很多公司都不是像我这样详细，所以长途巴士公司请的司机都服用药物来提神，车祸也一大堆了。可是，一般上，MNC 会避免请到患上长期病痛的职员，你要明白，每间公司的营业目的是为股东创造利益，而不是当起政府的福利部门，因此，体验和检查就是要避免请上一个经常请病假造成生产效率低的员工，何况医药费和保险费也会成为负担。因此，验血和验尿就是要看出对方平时服用什么东西。


如果你的忧郁症是轻微的，看得开一点吧，我的生活压力不会低于你，只是，我只是跟随 Dale Carnegie 那本《How to stop worrying and start living》书里提到 three magic steps that Willis H. Carrier, founder of the air-conditioning industry, uses to conquer worry：

1. Ask yourself "What is the worst that can possibly happen if I don't solve my problem?'
2. Prepare yourself mentally to accept the worst - if necessary
3. Calmly try to improve upon the worst - which you have already mentally agreed to accept.

除非你是 physically 无法控制你的脑袋，那么才找心理医生。至于找工作，也别太担心，如果你有忧郁症，不妨从小公司做起，不一定要把目标放得太高。
