Hi All,

Can I check if anyone here does importing goods and items from China to Malaysia in container basis ? If so, how much does it cost you for the sea freight (container as well as shipping fee) and import tax in Malaysia ? Thank you and looking forward to your info.

Ocean freight, handling charges and port charges would depend on what size of container and what carrier you use. Rates of mport duty (from 0% to 30%) and SST (from NIL to 10%) depends on what commodity/goods you import into Malaysia.

Your question is quite vague thus you would only get very general reply.

Thanks Roland for educating me all these changes that I may face. What if I intend to bring in plywood by using a 40ft HQ container, do you have any idea how much it gonna cost me ? Thank you in advance and looking forward to your reply again.
