Reference is made to the announcement made on 16 October 2019 in relation to the PWA (“Announcement”). Unless otherwise defined, all expressions used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning in the Announcement. The Board of Directors of MHB (“Board”) wishes to announce that the Contract Sum refers to the total contract value of the PWS Works amounting to RM2,900,743.00, which are payable by stages to PWS upon completion of each stages of PWS Works. The Contract Sum will be fully paid within a period of two (2) years commencing from 12 September 2019, as agreed upon in accordance with the delivery schedule. For the purpose of the PWA, the Contract Sum was awarded to PWS based on the services provided by PWS which includes but not limited to the following: to undertake to design, supply, deliver, supervise the installation and testing and commissioning of the LED Tunnel Lighting to underground tunnel in accordance with the specifications, drawings and other terms, lighting simulation and testing; and providing mock-up lighting unit, manufacture test, cabling and any other works or services necessary for the supply and delivery of the goods. The Board of Directors of MESTRON is pleased to announce that on 18 December 2020, Mestron Engineering Sdn Bhd [Registration No. 200201024307 (591970-X)], a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company entered into a Joint Venture Agreement (“JV Agreement”) with Samdo Smart Solar (M) Sdn Bhd [Registration No. 200401028630 (667138-W)] to jointly procure the completion of the service of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (“EPCC”) in respect of only six (6) solar power systems for telecommunication towers located in Peninsular and East Malaysia (“EPCC Services”) upon the terms and subject to the conditions stipulated in the JV Agreement. Query Letter Contents	We refer to your Company’s announcement dated 29 January 2021, in respect of the aforesaid matter. In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release:- The relevant regulatory approvals required to be obtained before Mestron Holdings Berhad (“Mestron) can commence  the redistribution, marketing and selling of the Vaccines in Malaysia, and the estimated date or  time-frame for Mestron  to submit the applications to these regulators for approvals.
(The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the Company’s announcement made on 29 January 2021 in relation to the Head of Agreement between Mestron and Zhongyu Yexing (Chengdu) Industrial Co., Ltd.) The Board of Directors of Mestron wishes to inform that the redistribution, marketing and selling of the Vaccines by Mestron in Malaysia is subjected to the approval of NPRA. Upon obtaining the necessary technical data on the Vaccines, Mestron expects to make an application to NPRA by 1st half of 2021 to procure for such approval. This announcement is dated 3 February 2021.
