（吉隆坡13日讯）由于成本增加，天华印务（Tien Wah Press Holdings Bhd）第二季净利按年挫跌68.5%。

该集团今日向大马交易所公布，截至6月杪次季净利为120万令吉，或每股0.83仙，相比上财年同期的381万令吉，或每股2.63仙。

季度营业额则从9200万令吉，微增0.9%至9282万令吉。

天华印务指出，完成新厂房承担了额外成本。此外，该集团的成本增加，以加强迪拜业务，以便在中东市场竞争。

累积2019财政年首半年，该集团净亏248万令吉，一年前则净赚139万令吉；营业额由1亿7354万令吉，扬4%至1亿8056万令吉。

对于年内展望，该集团表示乐观，并有信心改善在亚洲的表现。然而，迪拜市场仍然充满挑战。

Reference is made to the announcement dated 28 October 2016 on the extension of Supply Agreements by MEIL, in respect of supply to British American Tobacco Group (“BAT Group”) for their printed carton requirements in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam for the domestic and/or export markets. The Board of Directors of TWPH is pleased to announce that MEIL, a 51%-owned subsidiary of TWPH and 49%-owned by New Toyo International Holdings Ltd, the ultimate holding company of TWPH, and BAT Group had on 17 March 2020 agreed to extend its current Supply Agreement for printed carton requirements in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam for an additional five (5) years from 1 January 2020 and expiring on 31 December 2024 for the domestic and/or export markets, subject to execution of a formal contract which is expected to be in second quarter ending 30 June 2020. None of the directors and/or major shareholders of TWPH and/or persons connected to such director and/or major shareholders have any interest, direct or indirect in the Supply Agreements.
