全英羽赛成绩欠佳将退役 钟腾福盼当教练


(吉隆坡20日讯)大马羽球男双名将钟腾福期(图)待结束职业羽球选手生涯后转型为教练，该项事件有可能在全英赛后落实，如果腾福与搭档李万华无法在全英赛取得理想成绩。

在3月6日至11日的全英赛及3月13日至18日的瑞士公开赛后，腾福以选手身份在羽坛里闯荡的命运将有所改变。我国男双教练烈西已清楚的表示，他将非常关注钟李组合在全英赛的表现。

今年已步入32岁的钟腾福从未在全英赛染指任何冠军，两次闯入全英赛决赛都告负屈居亚军。钟李组合在韩国公开赛闯入8强因身体健康问题而弃权，如今腾福表示他们以逐渐找到状态，有望在全英赛取得更大的突破。

按造这样算 李钟不是要最少赢丹麦 （八强），大马 （四强） 和 现任世冠 或 前任世冠 （决赛）才赢得了全英冠军？

如果他真转为教练行吗？

It’s make or break for Wan Wah and Tan Fook

PETALING JAYA: National doubles shuttler Lee Wan Wah says he has nothing to prove at the All-England although he and partner Choong Tan Fook’s future with the national badminton team will depend on how they fare at Birmingham.

All Wan Wah-Tan Fook, the two-time runners-up hope to do, is to play their best in the All-England, which will begin today with the qualifying tournament.

Wan Wah said he was too worried over their future as a pair.

“I am committed in training. As far as I am concerned, I always give my best in training,” said the 33-year-old Wan Wah.

“My focus is on doing well in the All-England and try to go as far as possible.  

“Ultimately, Tan Fook and I hope to stay competitive at least until the Beijing Olympic Games next year,” he said.

Tan Fook-Wan Wah, ranked fifth in the world, will take on World Championships runners-up and local favourites Anthony Clark-Robert Blair in the first round tomorrow.

National coach Rexy Mainaky will review their performances and decide on their future in the national team after the All-England.  

If their performances is below par, they may not be considered for this year’s World Championships even if they qualify based on the world rankings.

雷西这么作很正常，难道还要浪费时间和金钱在没有利益的人的身上吗？
