You may consider of buying Takayama-Hokuriku Pass.
It's no point to stay one night in Nagoya.
If you buy Takayama_Hokuriku pass, you may take the bus from Takayama to Kanazawa and from Kanazawa take Thunderbird to Kyoto on Day 5.

I will be visiting Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kanazawa, Takayama, Nagoya in Feb 2020 with 10 days 9 nights trip and appreciate it if you could comments on my draft itinerary below. In between, could you pls suggest what kind of passes i should be using for my trip? Thanking in advance.
Day 1 - 7/2/2020
– Arrive in Kansai @ 9.10pm
– Staying close to Osaka-Namba by taking Nankai Railway
Day 2 - 8/2/2020
-Osaka to Kanazawa by JR Thunderbird limited express trains (take 2.5 hours)
-Kanazawa Castle
-Illuminated kenkoruen兼六园点灯(5.30-7.30pm)
- Stay at Kanazawa
Day 3 - 9/2/2020
– Kanazawa to Shirakawago (1hour25min) by Nohi Bus
- Shirakawago to Takayama
– Free Sake Brewery Tours at Takayama
- Stay at Takayama
Day 4 - 10/2/2020
- Takayama to Shinhotaka Ropeway (buy JPY6690 combo package from JTB office: include nohi bus from Takayama to the Ropeway, onsen, snack)
- Stay at Takayama
Day 5 - 11/2/2020
- Takayama Morning Market
-Takayama to Nagoya by Limited Express Wide View Hida (150min)
-Nabana No Sato (Nagoya) light festival
-Stay at Nagoya
Day 6 & 7 - 12/2/2020 & 13/2/2020
- Nagoya to Kyoto
- target to explore Sagano Romantic Train, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Togetsukyo Bridge, Tenryu-ji Temple, Philosopher’s Path, Kiyomizu-dera
- 12/2/2020 overnight at Kyoto and 13/3/2020 overnight at Osaka
NOTE: for Day 2-6, I plan to take Takayama Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass (5 days). Do let me know if any other passes suits better for my routes.
Day 8 - 14/2/2020
- Universal Studio Osaka & overnight at Osaka
Day 9 - 15/2/2020
- Day trip to Kyoto (perhaps exploring Kofukuji Temple, Nara National Museum, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha & deer park)
- Overnight at Osaka
Day 10 - 16/2/2020
- Free and easy at Osaka and leaving Osaka with 10pm flight
